I am giving you all the info I have on this, so here goes:
This year, in addition to the sample beers, live entertainment and $3 sample platters from select Citywalk and USF restaurants, beerfest will be having the Beer Dinner Brewer's Banquet. Reservations are required and the cost is $75 per person plus tax. The Banquet is being hosted by CityJazz and is on Friday night from 7p-10p.
At the banquet, Dr. David Ryder, Miller Brewing Company's Chief Brewmaster and Citywalk Executive Chef Joe Alfano will be guiding the attendees through an exclusive culinary adventure, paired with the appropriate beer/beverage. It will be a 5 course meal and beer pairings, with the first course featuring a one of a kind specialty brew that is unavailable to the general public and connot be purchased anywhere.
The courses are as follows:
1st Course:
-Imported Cheeses with Table Wafers
-Fred Miller 1880 Barley Wine (this is the one that cannot be purchased anywhere)
2nd Course
-Spring Mix Greens with Salmon Terrine, Marinated Haricot Verte and Three Peppercorn Dressing
-Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls with Butter
-Miller Lite or Miller High Life
3rd Course
-Lemon Sorbet with Mint
-Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss
4th Course
-Oak Grilled Filet Mignon with Black Truffle Potato Souffle, Artichoke Hearts, Smoky Bacon and Andouille Hollandaise Sause
-Pilsner Urquell
5th Course
-Chocolate Flourless Torte with Guava Shells and Gaufrette Cookie served with Trio of Sauces
-Leinenkugel's Creamy Dark
Now you know. Enjoy!
