We will be eating at Ragland Road and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a beer that they have had which is not too heavy.

Thanks

We often enjoy a Stella Artios when at RR or the Rose & Crown. It's a Belgian brew and while there are some Beer Snobs here who refer to it as 'Belgian Budweiser', it's not that at all.

I don't remember the name of all the beer we had but I would just ask your server. That's what we did. You will have a great time, the crowd really gets into it here. Or maybe it was just that we were there on a Friday and had a good group of people there. Enjoy yourself!

Hiya
Sorry to but in on your thread, when you go to Raglan Road my DH would also recommend a Stella Artios this is not a heavy drink such as guiness(In England this is classed as a lager, not beer, beer would be like an ale such as John Smiths) Stella is similar to Bud but a bit stronger, also my personal favourite is Woodpeckers, this is a sweet cider it is so refreshing and cold (mmm i think i can see a trip to the local pub happening tonight)
Hope this helps
Ali
