Just curious to know how much a beer is and how much are the mixed drinks? Also are there specialty drinks or drinks of the day and how much are they? Also, besides the Conch Cooler, what other fruity tropical drinks does everyone reccomend?

DCL offers virtually ANY mixed drink you can think up! They are usually all the same price, about $5.50 after gratuity. The mixed drinks in the Disney Cruise Line souvenir glasses are about $7.75.

Wine varies by type, usually ranging from $4.75 to $16.75 for a glass and $22 to $299+ for a bottle. Beer ranges from $3.50 to $5.00 or so depending on brand.

The ship will have daily specials on an ongoing basis. The "Drink of the Day" is a mixed drink that changes daily and costs $3.50. They usually offer champagne and mimosa during 10 AM to 12 PM for $2.99. On the last night of our cruise (May 3rd - May 10th) they offered a "One for the Road" special of two for one on any mixed drinks.

I thought the $3.50 drink of the day tasty and such a bargain.

Normally, the beers are $3.25 domestic and $3.75 Imported.

Mixed drinks are $4.75 so the drink of the day at $3.50 was a steal.

If you go to Palo, I'd recommend the Classic Bellini. It is almost impossible to get anywhere and quite a treat.

I was wondering...I didn't see the beer I like listed..it is called tequiza and it is bottled by Anhauser Busch. If it is not sold on the ship, can I bring a 6 pack or do I need to hide it well? Last cruise I took was Norwegian and they didn't have it..I was very thirsty for one after a hot day at Key West. Thanks Melissa

According to a few sources (including the Passporter Guide), you can BYOB.

No need to hide - you can bring your own.

My DH went wild for "Bahama Mama's" which was the drink of the day our first night - and became the drink of the cruise for him!

Thank you for your replies to my question. I am thrilled that I can bring a few of my favorite beers with! When I sailed Norwegian they were taking away all liquor brought on board and giving it back on debarkation day. Maybe I will even forgo the soda cards and bring a few cases with for all 6 kids. If I bought soda cards for all the kids we are talking an additional $120.00 just for the kids! Thanks again for all your help! Melissa

Ooh! I just found my new favorite drink when we were on our recent Voyager cruise! They called it a BBC. It's Bailey's, 1/2 a banana, and Pina Colada mix all blended up with ice! Yummy!! :)
