Been to the pool when it's cold outside?

I had planned for us to have a pool day this coming Wednesday (the middle of our vacation) but the weather report says it is going to cool down to a high of only 60. I know the pools are supposed to be heated. Should I reschedule our pool day? Has anyone gone to the pool when it has been cold outside?

We just got home and did go swimming but we are from Wyoming. Anything about 50 is a heat wave.

The pool at SSR was heated and the water felt really warm if you keep moving. Also have robe ready when you get out. The air was cold and that was when I felt cold. The hot tub was really nice but my son is too young to go into it.

WDW pools have really great heat which makes them great until you get out.......If your resort has robes bring them outside if not plenty of towels to dry off and throw some sweats on and you should be just fine.

I agree with the other posters--if you have towels handy nearby, go for it. It's the air being colder than the water thing that I don't like, but if the water is warmer than the air it should be OK.

60° is freezing!!! Especially if the kids like the slide. You can't bring robes or towels up the slides, so unless you stay in the water, 60° would be way too cold for us. I tried mid-70°'s at BWV and it was still too cold going up and down the slide. Then again we've become cold and thin blooded living in South Florida.
