Woke up a little later this morning (6:00 am - LOL) and we headed out to AK for a PS at Donalds Breakfastsoraus for 8:00 am. Arrived at the park and had no problems getting into our PS. It was cool seeing the park with so few people. We were so disappointed with our breakfast. The characters were pretty cool, but the breakfast was horrific. The lines were so long and we were not impressed with the selection. The bacon was so burnt it shattered when you picked it up. It was not worth the money. The one advantage to this meal is that your in the park at opening which gives you an edge. The main excitement was Goofy had come up to the table next to us where there was a whole family getting their pictures taken one at a time. When it was the mothers turn Goofy put his arm around her and as her husband clicked the camera she grabbed Goofy's crotch. We couldn't believe our eyes. We had a serious laugh about it.

Right after breakfast we headed over to Kilamajaro Safari. It was so great. We had a very short line so we moved along quickly. We looked around a bit and decided to head over to It's a Bugs Life. Lo and behold should come out of the foliage but DEVINE!!
She is magnificient!! I shot half a roll of film on her and even got three full face shots. I was so psyched because I had read about her and heard she is rarely seen so it really made my day. At one time she went back into the greenery and arched her leg up from the back and walking by you would never know she was there. It was so COOL!! Went onto it's a Bug's Life and I think that the line leading up to the attraction and the waiting area is the coolest one on Disney property (with Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror leading a very close second). We loved the show.
Walked around, saw a few things and headed back to the resort for lunch at the food court and a quick nap.

Headed to Downtown Disney around 4:30 pm. Took the boat this time and we really enjoyed it. It was nice going by POFQ. They really have some nice looking buildings but unfortunately if we're with the whole family we need the trundle bed available in AB. Not that were complaining, we loved staying at POR. Arrived in DD and walked around for awhile - the Lego store is awesome - the characters they have built up using legos is amazing. It boggles my mind to think that something so lethal in the middle of the night while stumbling to the bathroom can be turned into real works of art. Went to McD's for dinner and DH was practically kissing the tiles when we came thru the doors. Needless to say, it's been awhile since his last fix (for quarter-pounders that is). Nice and full we all strolled down to the Cirque De Soli Theatre for the 9:00 pm showing. We had great seats but it seemed like every seat would be decent. Even DS4 loved the show - especially the clowns - until he fell asleep halfway thru it. DH was kind enough to ask if he wanted me to take him. To bad it was after the show thou because my whole body was numb. It took me a few moments to come back to life. We did like the show, but it is quite expensive and we probably wouldn't do it again. Both DD12 and DS14 did buy Diablos out of there own money and they were $26 a peice so I knew they were serious. A Diablo is a long string with a wooden handle on each end. There's something that looks like a spool that they have to keep on the string going back and forth. There were three chinese girls throwing this thing all over the place while doing flips and jumps. It must take so much skill - but they make it look effortless. Or so my kids thought because they were bummed out when they couldn't do it themselves. It was a nice night out. Heading back to POR for bed. Kick back day tomorrow.

you should of said something to the cm about the bacon......we had a great meal there two weeks ago....thanks so much for your report.....I am still wondering how anyone can do that to poor goofy .....

And to think I believed hugging sweaty people would be the worst part of the job!:teeth:

I am really enjoying your reports. We got to see Devine and she is wonderful!

I was just like you when I saw DeVine for the first time. I was snapping photos left and right. Isn't she amazing?
