Hi guys, my broadband has been down for 12 days and I feel like I've lost touch with the world!!
It went off on Tues 13th and I spent most of the afternoon of the 14th trying to sort it with BT - and it was my birthday!! (Thanks for the birthday email!)
4 phone calls later it still wasn't resolved, until this morning when the little Indian BT call centre man called and suggested plugging router into main phone socket and not extension. It was then I discovered SOMEONE had not plugged the filter back into the living room socket when we bought a new phone 2 weeks ago. That someone MIGHT have been me, but I'm not admitting it yet!!
The crazy thing is I had triple checked all my pc connections in the office and changed the filter coz they are notorious for going wrong, I just never thought to check the other sockets in the house!!
Am waiting for the BT man to call back to see if its working, I think a little truth bending may have to come into the conversation!!!
