OK so this weekend I am going with my grandparents to Universal. One is 83 and the other is 94. I want to stay on site so that it is more convenient for all of us. If they get tired we can just go back to the hotel without worrying about having to drive anywhere. Now my question is... I have stayed at the Royal Pacific and the Portofino and I haven't noticed any difference in the rooms apart from the decorations. (To be honest I even liked the Royal Pacific better although it is "cheaper".) This time I want to stay at the Hard Rock since it is the only hotel I'm missing. The problem is I am not sure how much different it is going to be. I noticed it doesn't say "Loews" on the logo. Does that mean the rooms are not of the same quality as the other two hotels? If it isn't any different or any better should I just stay at the Royal Pacific with a water view for 5 dollars less or is it worth staying at the Hard Rock just to try something new? I think my grandparents might enjoy the Royal Pacific more since it seems calmer but then again the Hard Rock is much closer to the park and I haven't stayed there before. What do you guys recommend?
