Been gone awhile.. Need info on offsite large timeshare type for 4 adults, 4 kids???

I have read a little about Bonnet Creek and Cypress Pointe, but wanted any input from your experiences at any condo, patio home type rentals. We of course, want something as close to Disney as possible, but clean and nice at a reasonable rate. The children are ages 3, 2, 1 and 7. We are OK with sharing a large unit or getting 2 smaller ones. One would be for 2 adults and the 2 and 1 yr old and the other for 2 adults and the 3 and 7 yr old. Also, please let me know your rate if you don't mind. We need to go Thanksgiving week when school is out. I know it is busy then and more expensive!

Well, we found our rental on vacationrentals.com. It's through an independent owner. There were lots of great deals available, and no extra fees because there's no middle man. I can't recommend the condo yet, since we haven't gone yet!

We are a family of six. We often stay in units that are advertised to sleep 8, but I don't think I'd want to put 8 in any of them.

Unless you are very close, I think you'd be happier with two smaller units.

I like the condos on www.windsorhillsrent.com I have also stayed at Cypress Pointe, once in a 2 bedroom, and in a studio in Phase I. This October, DH and I will stay in a 1 br in Phase II. www.hotelkingdom.com has the best prices on Cypress Pointe, you can look at pics on cypresspointe.net under Phase I or Phase II. Finally www.romancingthemouse.com has excellent prices on homes in both Windsor Palms and Windsor Hills. A good friend of ours has stayed there many times, and I have met the owner as well.

I am looking to spend 4 days at a Universal hotel, followed by 3-4 days at a condo. What kind of daily rates should I be expecting for a decent 2 bedroom condo?

Any recomendations for a particular condo resort?
