Been exercising.

An old cliche for us pensioners: "Motion is lotion." Keep moving!

I learned last month that I tore my Achilles 70% while walking the Camino Frances last fall. I've been in a boot since 2/6 and find out Tuesday whether I need surgery. Looking forward to walking again.
 

Well.... you suggested exercise as a remedy to complex aliments... when actually it is a therapy... many of my wards would spend unhealthy hours walking the yard if we let them... physical harm to the e body would occur ... the doctor would ask how their body was fairing and if the team approved we could increase the time.... the benefit of the exercise therapy is sleeping and mental exhaustion....rest.... the super power being the ability to do the walking while none of us on the team could imagine such a task.... granted..an unhealthy super power but without the power he would shrink into the corners of the alley. When I pick him up at police station or hospital...his response with bandages on his feet..."That was amazing!!!,"...he wears flip flops on those 40 miles adventures...he will not wear shoes

What are you doing? I mostly walk but want to add strength training back in.

I follow C Dorner fitness vs going to the gym. She has free online classes. If you cannot make it live, you can just select one to do at your leisure. She offers cardio and weight/toning classes plus stretching/yoga at different levels. There is a Facebook group as well.
 
That’s great ! I haven’t been doing enough lately, and working from home is not good.
I ordered the boxing from Amazon. It attaches to the wall. It arrives tomorrow, and anxious to get to work 😊

I'm afraid that I'm a bit of a cop out. All I do is take very long walks and swim. Need to get back in the gym.
