been busy

Well so far I've done 84 pages since Jan 1st within those 84 pages I managed to finish 2 books I started last year, start & finish my son's 2nd grade book and start & bring up to date my son's 3rd grade book. I'm scrapping as I"m taking photos with that book.

This month I've only done 10 pages (
My main focus so far this month is Valentine's Day and b-day's (in this month)

I have to make 5 b-day cards, 2 teacher appreciation cards, 7 Valentines Cards and 22 Student gifts boxes all before the 12th.

I wanted to share what I have completed so far so you guys don't think I'm sitting on my duff LOL

OK these are teacher sets I made for my son's teachers.
The colors do match the flash is just bouncing. I also made the Milk cartons which are filled with Hersehy hugs and Kisses.
Some of you might have seen the cards
Teacher 1 set (inside says Happy Valentines Day)

Teacher 3 set is for my son's last year teacher that he LOVES. her favorite color is green and her favorite team is the Jets. Hence the card. I do think I went a little overboard on the green LOL

This is the inside. instead of being an MVP she is an *** LOL

This is what I made for all the kids in class. I made them for candy but when I was food shopping I realized that mini cupcakes would fit perfectly in them so that's what they hold.

I still have to make hubby, son and mom a V-day card. I just got asked to make the other school aide a card and 3 more b-day cards so I'm still not done. All that needs to be done before the 12th eeek. I'm also making chocolate wrappers. Well I can delay a card my other nephews b-day is next Thursday. Yes you have been reading right I have 1 niece and 2 nephews born within 3 weeks all on the same day LOL Just wait till September

We can't send *anything* edible in for the kids. Not even lollipops, makes me insane.

Wow - 84 pages!! I've managed to do less than ten but hey two of the LOs are 2-pagers with 8-9 photos in them

I confess that I'm one of those obsessive scrappers that has to find the perfect PP & embellies for the photos AND finish the journaling.

The cards are wonderful - your DS teachers and class mates are going to love the cards & boxes!

That stinks. I know others that can't even take photos of the kids at events. I understand safety but don't you think some schools are taking it to far. My son's old school was going to banned peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I freaked out because that was ALL my son ate for about 1 year. A year later I removed my son from that school cause I was about to punch the nun in the head (you should NEVER want to feel like that) so we left to a different and BETTER Catholic school (where it's about FAMILY not profit). OK so that's a little more info than were expecting LOL Sorry I just can't stand when the schools tell you what you can and can not do with your children.

Yup 84 pages which has helped me complete FOUR 1/2 of this years goals already. I need 1 1/2 more goals to complete and all my 2010 goals are DONE woohoo

I use to be the same way till I got so far behind. I must say I'm glad I only have the one kid or I'd be in trouble LOL

Thank you. Sometimes I wish I was in school just to see reactions. I get the ohhh and aahhhh and thank you after school but that's then I would love to see their faces when the see it for the first time.

I don't think the milk carton is on that cart. I know I want that cart for the cupcake box LOL

I missed so much scrapping in the last 2 days with 2 snow days. NOW the kids have off Monday. I say they had their presidents day out get them back in LOL

Zach wanted me to make spongebob cards (spongebob made with my cricut) I tried so many times I just got to overwhelmed by it all that I gave up and bought cards. Then I felt bad so I made the boxes LOL Maybe next year I won't wait till Feb to make all the cards for the kids and it wouldn't get away from me.

tell me about it!! DH isn't coming home again so I've had the monsters for 2 weekends alone this month. He needs to deal with them for a change. Oh and we have Monday and Tuesday off so I have to entertain them for 2 extra days. LOL

I get the whole food thing, but seriously, a lollipop or some conversation hearts? By 4th grade, the kids who have allergies know what they can and can't eat.

They did change it, they used to have to get a signed form from EVERY parent in the classroom to have pumpkins in the classrooms (to count seeds, etc.), make gingerbread houses out of graham crackers and frosting, just crazy stuff.
