Hi All! I hope everyone had a wonderful past 2 weeks. I said I would attempt at doing a trip report while I was down there, but unfortunately life was more then crazy each day. I didn't even get the computer our of the bag till our
4th day there lol. So here goes...

We left New Jersey on Wed. Sept. 23rd at 10pm. This was about an hour after we had actually decided we wanted to leave. No biggie really since this just means the kids will definitely sleep. Driving down was just myself, hubby, dd(2), and ds(1). Surprisingly our daughter did not fall asleep immediately. Around 11:30 all of a sudden I look back and notice she was getting sick. Unfortunately my daughter started having car sickness around 13 months old. We don't know what brought it on, but it stopped about 6 months ago and we thought we were ok. Guess what... we were wrong lol. Cleaned her up on the Atlantic City Expressway and off we went. She passed out pretty quick after that.

Around 5am we were somewhere in North Carolina. Got a room and I slept while the hubby took the kids to a local park and laundrymat to wash all the stuff from the night before. Left around 3pm to get on our way. We only drove when the kids slept which worked out really well.

We arrived at AKV Kidani at 6am on Friday morning. We pulled in, got our Welcome Home from the security guard and drove to the temporary parking lot. My husband got the car in park and passed out lol. I let him sleep for an hour or so since the kids were still sleeping. I just took it all in. I watched the sun come up from over the resort which was wonderful!! I couldn't believe we were finally there!! This was the start of our 1st DVC trip I just couldn't sleep anymore.

We checked in I think at 8 something and walked around the resort because as you could guess our room wasn't ready lol. I knew we'd get there early so we parked the car around where they told us our room would be and grabbed our bathing suits. Before the pool though we drove to Mara for some breakfast because we were starving LOL. After that back to the pool. We LOVED the pool at Kidani! My daughter who is 2 1/2 LOVED the little slide into the pool and my son who just became a skilled walker couldn't get enough of the spray area! Around 12:30 or so we got our text that our room was ready and we had decided it was time to go.

We got into the room and couldn't have been more happy about it! We had a 1bdrm SV on the 3rd floor 2nd bead from the lobby. It was exactly where I had requested. The room was perfect. Our daughter didn't mind at all sleeping on the pull out. Both kids LOOOOVED watching the animals from the balcony! We enjoyed being so close to the lobby so we could refill our mug pretty often. Since we just drove for so many hours we figured it would be a low key day. After all the swimming the kids were tuckered so we did naps. After that we headed over to Downtown Disney for some walking around. Unfortunately it was drizzling a little by then, but that didn't stop us. Threw the stroller cover on the stroller we rented from Magic Strollers and we were all good to go!

On Saturday Sept. 25th we had reservations at Chef Mickey's which was a
1st for ALL of us! The kids had a wonderful time as did we! My husband musta ate like 5 plates of food. For him it was one of the best breakfast buffets we've ever eaten at. For me it was good. Everything was hot and tasty. I'm a bad person to bring to a breakfast buffet since I don't eat eggs and usually a lot of food revolves around that or some I don't eat lol. But I found plenty for me to eat and be happy. Most importantly BOTH my children ate and were happy. We really didn't know what to expect, but we loved it and will definitely do it again! Also Pluto flinging our coffee pot across the floor was an added bonus too lol. He REALLY wanted to take a picture with us :rotfl:.

After Chef Mickeys we walked to Magic Kingdom. On our way I heard something shuffling in the bushes. I got nervous thinking it might be a snake lol. I looked and low and behold it was an armadillo just walking down the sidewalk. Not something you see everyday lol. Well... we entered Magic Kingdom and our daughter face when she saw the castle was priceless. We were at the start of Main Street when she saw it and she forgot she was strapped in and tried to jump out to run. We tried to get my son his 1st hair cut, but they were very busy and only had one person cutting hair at the time we went in. So we decided we'd try back another time.

After some time at Magic Kindgom we monorailed over to Epcot since our reservations for Via Napoli were coming up. Both kids LOVED the monorail. My daughter couldn't stop saying choo choo the whole time lol. We walked in and went straight to find Via Napoli since we were hungry. Our reservations were for 5:45 and we got there at 5. It was so hot we didn't care if we had to sit and wait 45 mins for our reservation time we just wanted to sit in the ac lol. Fortunately for us BOTH kids passed out in the stroller 5 mins before arriving at the restaurant. Not only were they nice enough to take us early they allowed us to wheel a DOUBLE stroller into the restaurant up to our table. The food was definitely good. I got the margherita pizza and the hubby had the veal parm. We were on the dining plan so this meal worked in our favor. Both were good and I think we'd definitely come back for that. Now the desserts... OMG they were GREAT!! My husbands was soooooo good. He got Coppa Di Brutti Ma Buoni which is vanilla gelato with ugly cookies and the best cherries I've ever had! I wish we had gotten pictures of our food, but we were so happy to have peace and quiet eating we totally didn't think of it lol. Needless to say the kids woke up 5 mins after we left the restaurant lol so we headed back to the hotel.

I think that was a lot of info for the 1st two days lol. I'll update more since both my kids just woke up from their naps :goodvibes.

So glad you like Kidani. It is our favorite. Keep us going - I am going in 4 weeks, so I will just have to live through all of the trip reports until I can get there!

Thank you for sharing! I love reading trip reports. It makes not being in my favorite place a little more bearable. Also, it's fun reading about experiences I've had, through someone else's eyes. Can't wait to read more!!!

We love Kidani and will be there in another week. Outside of the trip itself, sounds like a great vacation!!! Glad to hear your room request was honored!

The Kidani waterpark pool area is great for the kids. Our DD6 loved it last year, and we have a few relaxing days planned where we will be hanging by the pool.

Looking forward to the rest of your report!

I'm really enjoying your trip report. It's nice to read about those special moments interpreted throught the eyes of our young ones. Mine is 14 now (actually this Sunday), 6'2" and not a baby anymore but I remember our 1st trip to AKV, how awestruck he was looking at the giraffe eating leaves by our balcony, she almost looked close enough to touch!

Enjoy your babies, they grow up so fast.

Can't wait to read more! I also can't wait to try Via Nappoli, finally decent pizza at Disney!

Thank you so much to everyone reading and the wonderful comments!

Onto Sunday Sept. 26th. We checked out of our 1bdrm Kidani SV into a Jambo GV. My mother, step-father, sister, and father-in-law were all arriving at different times on that day. While waiting for everyone we had decided we'd go to the pool over at Jambo since that's where everyone was meeting. Our good friends were also going to be down during that week and they arrived at Jambo 1st so we all went to the pool together. While we were swimming my parents and sister arrived and I got the text our room was ready. We all gathered everything up and went to the room. We all couldn't believe how big and spacious the room was! No one could possibly step on each other in this room! My father-in-law arrived not to long after we had gotten into the room. So after everyone was done with the ooo's and aaah's my hubby, mother, and father-in-law all went to the grocery store for the weeks supplies. I have to say I was happy I wasn't apart of that trip LOL.
After they finally returned we all got dressed and went over to Magic Kingdom.

Now here is where I saw how my week was going to go lol. Since extra magic hours were on Sunday it seems everyone at AKL decided to wait for them and get on the bus at the same time lol. So we waited at the stop with a fairly large group. Once the bus came it almost seemed impossible my entire group, plus a double stroller folded would make it onto the bus. Well... thanks to my mom I was wrong. This is one of those bite your tongue really hard moments. She was like "come on we'll all fit". She some how pushed her way with my step father all the way to the back finding the last two seats while my sister(holding my ds(1)), myself(holding dd(2)), father in law, and hubby holding the double stroller stood smooshed in the middle of the bus. Why because they decided to hold open the back door of the bus that is only opened when people are coming out. Oye! I stood on the long trek to Magic Kingdom with my head down wondering what I had really gotten myself into. I had said we'd wait for the next one, but I was apparently ignored on that.

So shaking the bus incident aside we arrive at Magic Kingdom and all is well until we realize we've arrived as the fireworks had just ended and everyone is rushing the door to get out. Main Street was PACKED lol. So we made our way through the crowd to Cosmic Rays and ate. Once everyone had some food we were all good. We rode the people mover which was nice! My step-father held back and watched my son who had passed out in the stroller. After that I FINALLY got to ride something with my daughter all by myself. She wanted to go on the Indy cars. All she kept doing was making vroom noises so I HAD to take her. We had a great time just the two of us! It was dark so she couldn't see a lot on the track, but she saw everything lit up and loved it! She waived to her grandparents as we drove by. She loved it so much she didn't want to get out and wanted to go right back on LOL. The hubby, FIL, and Sis all went on Space Mountain while we were driving.

While walking over to meet up with everyone at Space Mountain it started to pour so we took cover in the gift shop/arcade for awhile. My daughter of course was in her glory cause she got to play the basketball game, bowling, etc. So after the rain had let up everyone went on Buz Lightyear. Hubby and I were a little nervous cause it was a little dark and our daughter freaked out on Figment(which I just remembered we did on Saturday lol). She did "ok". She didn't freak out, but she kept her head pretty close to me the whole time lol. Needless to say while I was comforting a 2 yr old in my lap I still won lol. I have no idea how since my mom, sfather, sis, and hubby had all hands free to play :rotfl2:! But after Buzz we all decided it was best to go back to the hotel to sleep. It was around 10 something and we wanted to get an early start.

I will say it was soooo nice going back to the hotel and having all that room to move!! The kitchen was wonderful! I just can't see how I'm going to be able to function in a studio ever again lol.

Thanks for your report. I always give dh a hard time too when I beat him at Buzz or TSM when holding our dd.
Glad you had a good time.

Can't wait to read more! I also can't wait to try Via Nappoli, finally decent pizza at Disney!

Via Nappoli was great! The food was definitely good! I was excited to try the pizza and will definitely go back and have it again. I will say though the waiters eyes near fell out of his head when my husband ordered the veal parm. LOL. We only did the regular dining plan for the 2 nights we were going to be in the 1bdrm at the beginning of our trip. I guess the guy didn't expect us to want to actually maximize our meal plan usage LOL. I would have actually went for a regular dish instead of the pizza, but the whole reason I went there was for the pizza LOL. We had a great meal and I suggest not skipping the dessert on this one! We didn't try any appetizers since we didn't want to push our luck with the kids sleeping so well through all the happy birthday singing going on LOL. I don't think you'll be disappointed when you do get to try it! :thumbsup2

Now Monday Sept. 27th. We were all a little slow going this morning. We wanted to get up early and get out, but that totally didn't happen lol. Mom and FIL made breakfast, we all ate, and out the door by I think it was 11. Definitely not the start we were looking for, but hey what can you do.

Off to Animal Kingdom we went. It was definitely a hot day in the park, but really Animal Kingdom I always find is hotter then the rest. We met up with my friends and we headed for "It's Tough to be A Bug". We figured if we could get my daughter in the seat and see Flik all would be ok. Well... it wasn't. Unfortunately she started to get freaked out and my husband took her out. I sat there with my DS(1) who LOVED the whole show. He even enjoyed where the spiders came down from the ceiling which I had TOTALLY forgotten about LOL. I was happy I made my husband take my DD out. She would had been hysterical.

From there we had decided to go to the Safari to see how long the wait was. When we got there the wait was only 10 mins , BUT my DD had just fallen asleep in the stroller on the way over. So we didn't want to wake her so we fast passed it and went to eat at the Flame Tree BBQ. I totally didn't ask anyone where they wanted to eat lol. When in Animal Kingdom that is where we go so I wasn't missing it lol. Everyone had a good meal and by the time we were done we headed back to the Safari.

My DD woke up on the way back to the Safari which was good. Since we were with my friends and family we had 4 children with us. ALL the kids LOVED the animals as we were passing them. All you kept hearing were the sounds of the animals coming from their mouths. Well... from the 2 yrs olds lol. My DS (1) and friends DS(4mons) didn't really make animal noises lol.

After the Safari my mom and step-father were a little over heated and opted to leave and go back to the hotel. I hear instead of going to the pool they both zonked out for a few hour naps lol. The rest of us headed on down to Expedition Everest. While my sis, DH, and FIL rode Everest my friends and I headed over to Dino land to ride some rides with the kids. We did rode something... hmmm "think think think". I don't remember the name lol, but it was like dumbo lolol. By the time we were done with the the hubby caught up with us and I took my best friend on Primevil Whirl! I told her it wasn't bad and we'd be fine. I COMPLETELY forgot about the ride having a few drops which were fine, but I soooo forgot about them. The whole time my friend was yelling my name like how could you do this to me LOL. I'm not a rollercoaster person at all, but this type of thing I can handle. We got off and she absolutely loved it :).

Once we were done there we saw that Goofy and Pluto were there for pics. My DD wanted nothing to do with it, but my friends DD did so we waited for them. All of a sudden my DD wanted to take a pic and my friends DD didn't lol. So basically we were still waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Finally by the time we were the 2nd to next people Goofy and Pluto needed a break. Oye ok... so we wait more lol. I told my friends they could head back to the hotel since we were all gonna hit the pool. It was SO HOT lol. We did our Goofy and Pluto pics and off we went back to the hotel for some swimming.

At the hotel we went over to Kidani for the kids to play in the splash area. Unfortunately not to long after we got there some dark clouds started rolling in. Oh well... what can you do it's Florida lol. They did shut the pool down after about 30 mins of being there. Which was enough to wear our my kids for a little nap. We all went back to the hotel room slept, showered, and headed to Mara to eat something quick. By the time we were all done it was later in the evening and no one was really looking to go to a park so we all just called it a night. It was nice though cause I had my glass of wine on the balcony watching the animals in the night looking at how pretty Kidani looked all lit up with the fire pit roaring in the distance.

That's pretty much it for Monday. I've never attached photos so I don't know how too. I don't see an icon to do so :confused3.

I'd like to post some pictures, but I can't seem to figure out how. I don't see any buttons that say attach. Can someone help me with this please?

Tuesday Sept. 28th. We all got up early and were out by 9 something to head over to Epcot. My friends again had beaten us there and were somewhere over by Nemo once the buses finally picked us up. Upon arriving at Epcot I told everyone I wanted to do the photopass since I had prepurchased especially for this trip. With any large group there's going to be some confusion and annoyed people. This time if was my FIL mumbling under his breath that we were wasting time or something. It cracks me up cause I catch him everytime and no one else. So... of we went to take some pictures. You can tell now looking at them who was into it and who wasn't lol, but anyway.

From there my mother put her 2 cents in that she didn't care about catching up with my friends and she wanted to go on the ride through the big ball as she calls it lol. So everyone other then myself, hubby, and kids went on. We held back because we knew how dark it was in there and our daughter wouldn't have any part of it. So instead I got the kids some lunch which was apparently a good idea lol.

After everyone was done which was about 20 or so mins later. We headed over to Club Cool to have everyone try the soda samples. My husband and I have been WAITING an entire year to get his father to try the Beverley soda! I can hear my husband telling my FIL how great it is, it's the best one, you HAVE TO TRY IT. He takes a sip and his face was PRICELESS!!! He looked at us like WHAT is wrong with you 2?! He was like you can honestly like this?? We BUSTED out laughing, and he knew he got played LOLOL. There aren't many of the sodas in there that I would say I'd drink on a daily basis, but the Beverley is definitely the worst to us lol.

From there we headed out towards Nemo after checking the wait times for Test Track and Soarin. Since those were so long we headed for Nemo. On the way we caught Chip and Dale which my DD was soooooooooo excited about! She has been watching all the old Donald classic cartoons and now LOVES Chip and Dale so seeing them was definitely the highlight of her day!!
After our meet and greet we again headed toward Nemo. Again hubby and I were a little nervous how she'd react, but she did good. She was calling out Nemo as best as she could eat time she thought she saw him. I have learned that even though you shouldn't be rude and talk on your cell phone during the rides it has become a life saver as a quick light to calm your child. So I apologize now for anyone I may have/or will annoy in the future with the light. I do try and keep it out of everyone elses eye line if possible. :) Once Nemo was done we looked around at all the fish which was nice. DD again was trying to find Nemo in the tanks lol. We were going to Turtle Talk, but unfortunately our daughter only wanted to ride the escalator :rotfl2: so we skipped it.

We split up after Nemo. Me, Hubby, kids, and FIL all went for lunch while Mom, Stepdad, and sis headed for Captain EO and Figment. Once we were finally done with lunch which my DD fell asleep before the food arrived lol we headed back to the hotel. That was around 4 I think. We left early because we were meeting up with my friends at Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP later. We wanted to have time to wash up and get the kids dressed in their outfits.

We arrived at Magic Kingdom around 8 for the Halloween Party. It was nice that the rest of the family wasn't going cause that meant we could just drive over instead of using the bus. Don't get me wrong we love the bus transportation, but we'd rather not use it now after having children and a stroller lol. So here we go! We entered through the turnstiles and saw the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween sign and just lit up! DD couldn't believe her eyes with how everything looked! We found our friends who found a wonderful spot for the parade that had just started. We watched the parade, kids got some free candy while watching, and just enjoyed the whole thing! Granted the song was stuck in my head the rest of the night, but what can you do lol. Afte the parade we headed towards Liberty Square since that was the nearest candy station. WELL... we passed that one due to the line lol. Headed over to Fantasyland where the lines for candy were so much smaller. As we got over there the fireworks started and it was so great as we had never seen them from behind the castle. We knew we were missing possibly something in the front, but it didn't matter. The view we had was SO GOOD!! While the fireworks were going off we had a wonderful idea to get in line for Dumbo! That was a great idea as we basically walked right on once they started it again after the fireworks were over lol. We did a few other things and then headed for something to eat at Cosmic Rays only because there was a dance party going on!! My DS, who I really haven't mentioned a lot cause he napped through most of Disney lol, totally wanted to get down with Goofy, Pluto, and Stitch! My DD however didn't want to get out of our arms for some reason. We figure by that time she was just cranky and tired. I mean who wouldn't be right. It was late anyone would be cranky at 10:30 or so lol. My friends DD had actually fallen asleep in her father's arms so they decided to leave. After they left both my children passed out and the hubby and I took a little advantage and walked and shopped a little. We got a couple of photopass pics of just the 2 of us and just enjoyed the night.

We agreed we'll definitely do MNSSHP again!! Sorry these trip reports are so long. For some reason I just can't make them short and sweet lol.

Sorry all for the lag on the trip report. We came home with sinus infections from Disney and we're still fighting them off.

So now we're on Wednesday Sept. 29th. We decided to go back to Magic Kingdom during the day. Arrival went well, bags check, and walking down Mainstreet was a lot easier to move. I made an announcement that morning to everyone that I didn't care if no one wanted to that I would be stopping at the photopass stops since I had already pre-paid it. I wanted to the photopass this time around since there were so many of us. Thankfully no one had objections or remarks. I was putting my foot down on this one LOL!

So onto Magic Kingdom. We walked in and took some photopass shots and headed for Swiss Family Robinson. Just in the fashion of the majority of the vacation our son had passed out not to long after entering the park. So My stepfather and I held back and sat out the treehouse while everyone else made the climb lol. To be honest I was happy to sit that one out.

After the treehouse we headed for Aladdin's carpets, but the wait was a little long so everyone decided to do the Jungle Cruise. Since again my son was sleeping I decided again to sit out. My husband wasn't thrilled that I was hanging back again, but I told him I needed to eat something since I was the only one who had skipped breakfast in the room. Ya know that normal story of mommy running around making sure everyone is fed and we have everything and forgets to eat herself LOL. So off they went on their jungle cruise, and off I went on a hunt for food. I knew Pecos Bill's was right around the corner. While walking up I had noticed a small kiosk type food place right outside of Pecos Bill's. This place even though the menu is very small had exactly what I wanted even though I didn't know it was exactly what I wanted lol. I did try to go into Pecos Bill's, but with me being by myself carrying food pushing a double stroller with how CROWDED it was I opted for the kiosk outside. I got a Chicken BLT flatbread. For $9 it was HUGE and came with fries or something else if I wanted. I couldn't believe how big the meal actually was and it was soooooo good! It was nice I was sitting there just eating my meal, son had a nice breeze blowing on his in the stroller, listening to the people walking by and the train going past. I will say I would definitely eat there again. While I was there everyone was done with their jungle cruise and headed for Aladdin's carpets. This was fine with me since my meal was huge and I was only about half done lol. My sister came and found me and kept me company which came in handy once my son woke up.

After food and carpets we all headed towards Splash and Big Thunder Mountain. Finally I got to ride something lol. I went on Big Thunder Mountain with everyone except for the hubby who hung back with the kids. After that everyone headed for Splash Mountain except for me and the stepdad again. He can't ride many things after a surgery he had in January so I had a lot of company during our trip. We hung out in the gift shop right outside of Splash Mountain which was nice since they have rocking chairs in there :). My DD fell asleep while walking around in there with a lollipop in her hand. This is something she had done 3 other times during the week lol. So after everyone returned it would appear they were all hungry now and off to Pecos Bill's we went. After food we hit a few shops to look at some pins and house stuff and headed to Haunted Mansion. The wait on this one was only about 20 mins, but when holding my children who are tall for their ages it can feel like forever. Especially for my husband who was holding our DD who was still sleeping! At 2yr old she's already 37+ inches tall. As you'd expect we all enjoyed Haunted Mansion. My DS(1) loved seeing all the ghosts flying around. Our DD stayed asleep the whole time thankfully.

At this time we headed over to Mickey's Philharmagic. Our DD was a little nervous, but she was good through it. Our DS who was sitting on my sister's lap had no idea what to make of the whole thing, but you could hear him laughing over everyone in the place lol. Definitely one of my favorite places for sure!! So after the show was over my mom and stepdad headed to the Contemporary for some drinks. Again from what I hear I think by the time they got to the end of Mainstreet they just headed back to our room for drinks by our pool lol. So it was just me, hubby, kids, sis, and FIL. Sis and I got ice cream while hubby took the kids on their 2nd trip on Dumbo. After that we headed to Mickey's Toontown. We headed straight for Goofy's Barnstormer because the hubby had been dying to get our DD on it. So oddly enough my FIL decided he'd go also lol. We had never payed any attention to it in the past because our children weren't big enough, but HOLY SMOKES that ride is fast lol. I mean for a children's rollercoaster lol. My FIL came off and was in shock at how cool and fast it was. DD loved it! She may not like the dark rides, but she enjoys the thrill ones:lmao:.

After Barnstormer I was on a hunt for Milk for my son. I didn't pack enough Milk for him today. Not sure why exactly, but I was on a RUSH hunt as he was not happy. I headed for Cosmic Rays since that was the closest and the girl in the gift shop told me I could get it there. Finally I got back with the milk and the kids were playing in the little play area. Gave my son his milk and we all headed for the train. THIS WAS A BIG MOMENT! We had been promising our daughter a trip on the train ALL WEEK(even though it's only Wed lol)! We brought her on the monorail, but the monorail doesn't go "choo choo" so this was a big moment. We boarded and she was all excited and sad at the sametime. She LOVED the "choo choo", but was so sad she was leaving Toontown. I hadn't taken the train in probably 4 yrs so I forgot how fast the trip from Toontown to Mainstreet was. Upon arriving at the station the parade was going on so we BOOKED it to the monorail to get to Epcot. It was their late night so we wanted to get over there to see if we could get on Test Track and Soarin.

So now we're at Epcot and headed straight for Test Track. We got there at a great time as Illuminations was about to start which meant the wait time was low. We got there and it said 40 mins and all fast pass tickets are gone. The CM said you can walk right on. Like confused puppies our heads turned sideways like what are you talking about it says 40 min...heeeeeey wait a minute... it says 10mins now. Hmmmm sneaky sneaky but BONUS for us lol. So the hubby and FIL went on first while sis and I hung back with the kids. So we waited, and waited, and waited. About 30 mins later we're going ummmm maybe the wait was longer then they thought. Yeah no it wasn't. FIL and Hubby were in the gift shop area googling the cars in the showroom. I was none to happy when I finally got him on the phone lol. I mean come on we want to ride and get to Soarin lol. Finally it was our turn and of course it was GREAT! Then off to Soarin we went. Along the way the hubby wanted ice cream so they went for that while sis and I headed for Soarin. Now the wait time on this one was 40 mins also and this time they meant it. We decided to wait anyone since my hubby is a SLOW ice cream eater I figured we had some time. It really only took us about 20 mins in line to get into the ride. It was my first time and sis' second. It was fun, but something if I skip it in the future I won't mind. Everything about the ride was great, but I sometimes don't do well with those types of rides and this one was a little much for me. Also we were on the lowest rack so that might had been the problem.

After Soarin we headed back to the hotel. The kids were both asleep and everyone was tired. It was about 10:30 or something so we were ready for bed. I tell you before kids 10:30 meant it was time to get in the park cause everyone else is sleeping. Pushing two kids in a stroller is exhausting LOL. No matter what I prefer this way of doing Disney with my kids then without!!

Thursday Sept 30 - We decided to it was finally time to hit Hollywood Studios. This one has always been a favorite of mine since it has the Muppets, and Star Wars, and now Playhouse Disney. So I was excited to get out. We had basically run out of breakfast type foods in the room so we ate at the little pastry shop when we got there. After breakfast was done we headed to Rockin Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. We fast passed RR since the wait time was a little long and TOT was only 20 mins. Again waiting was me and my stepfather. Again DS was passed out and DD had fun watching the birds begging for food near the counter service location. We found a table in the shade to wait so it was nice. After all returned from TOT we had a little breakdown on what to do next. We decided to head off to The Great Movie Ride while waiting for the return time to RR. I have to say our Ganster guy I think needed a class in enthusiasim. He was so laid back I could have fallen asleep lol. The regular girl driver/announcer was fine, but the guy who takes over for a little bit was definitely a snore.

Through all of this our friends were in the park eating at Hollywood and Vine. We FINALLY met up with them after The Great Movie Ride. Hubby, sis, and FIL hit RR while we all sat and waited. Now by this time I was a little tired, but eh it was hot and the kids were running me around a little no biggie really. Once everyone returned we wanted to head for Playhouse Disney. My sis, mom, and stepdad headed for backlot tours since my mom didn't want to stand in the back or sit on the floor during Playhouse Disney. Oh well their loss lol. FIL also decided he wanted to go back to TOT and head back to the hotel for some swimming. Ok no problem! So it was just us and our friends! Good deal or so I thought. Our friends were completely fine so it wasn't them. We headed in for the Mickey Meet and Greet while waiting for Playhouse Disney time to come up. We were there about an hour early and didn't want to wait in line that early.

While we were in line waiting for Mickey I started not feeling well at all. My husband was also coughing and feeling very sick. He had our DD in line who he couldn't control because he just felt so bad. By the time they were 2 people from meeting Mickey our DD was just everywhere and we both agreed we needed to go back to the hotel to lay down. Hubby definitely had come down with something. Mine I think at that time was just from the heat. I was drinking plenty of liquids which weren't helping and the ac was doing nothing. We apologized to our friends that we had to go or we were going to pass out. Of all days today was the day we had no help with us for the bus. We always had at least 1 other person to help us. So we made it to the bus line which wasn't bad. Unfortuntely waiting for the bus took FOREVER. I at one point had to sit on the ground because I just couldn't stand anyone. The bus ride was "ok". We were able to get a seat which for us was more then needed at this point. I was holding our sleeping DD and hubby had DS who wanted to touch everything. I was basically passing out on the bus. Some nice woman noticed we didn't look so good and mentioned the heat will do that to ya LOL.

We finally arrived at the hotel. When we walked in my FIL looked at us and basically took over. We put DD down since she was still sleeping. Hubby passed out in the sleeper chair under a blanket so he wasn't coughing into the room, and my FIL told me to go lay down and he'd take care of DS. THANK GOD for him at this moment. I was out for more then 2hrs. I woke up feeling a little better, but not a lot. Mine was definitely from the heat. My hubby not so much. Once I got up my FIL headed for the gift shop to get some cold and flu pills for my husband and powerade. The pills definitely helped him for the next few days. So basically we spent the rest of the day and night in the room. I mean if you're gonna have to be stuck in a room why not have it be a GV in Jambo right LOL. So that was Thursday fun and not lol.
