I have not been on this board for some time, unfortunatly I have been suffering from depression since before Christmas and Chronic exhaustion, I also have a mild self harming condition. I am begining to feel a bit better since my B12 inections started although they make me feel awful just after I get them, and I am begining to get excited about our trip to the World in August.

Whilst I have been off work I have entered a few competitions that I have come across - well my luck must be in as I have won tickets to the World premiere of 'snowwhite and the huntsman' on Monday in Leicester square - my first reaction was to tell them that we could not go but DH has been marvelous whilst I have not been well so decided to push myself - especially as it is our silver wedding anniversary next Wednesday - so what I now need is some help - What would you wear, we will be in a special area on the red carpet as the stars arrive, I don't have anything too dressy.

Congratulations!! I would wear anything black. Black is always classy.

Hope 2012 is looking better for you. All the best on Monday! Let us know how the movie is.

So sorry to hear that you've not been well! Congratulations on winning the tickets :thumbsup2 IMO you should wear whatever you'll feel most comfortable in, that way you'll be able to relax more and enjoy yourself! :goodvibes I do agree with mugglebe that black is most always a classy option. Whatever you decide to wear I hope that you have a great time and really enjoy it! :goodvibes

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary hope that you have a lovely day! :lovestruc

So lovely to see you back Snookhams! :goodvibes Sorry to hear you've been unwell, but I do hope you continue to improve and feel better each day.

Congratulations on winning the tickets, I hope you have a great evening out, I'm sure it'll give you much more confidence. As others have said, wear what makes you feel comfortable, as I'm sure you'll look fantastic in whatever you choose! :thumbsup2

Congratulations on your silver wedding anniversary also, I hope you and your DH have a lovely time celebrating! And it's not long until your WDW trip either, which is even better! :)

Enjoy the movie!

Sorry to hear you've not been well  but glad that you're feeling better now.

Congratulations, both on winning and on your silver wedding anniversary! I'd just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in - maybe a pair of trousers or smart jeans with a nice top?

Have a great evening and please come back and tell us about it. My eldest DD won VIP tickets for the world premiere of Prince Caspian a few years ago. Sadly she had to give them up as she had a GCSE exam on the same afternoon and would never have made it up to London in time. She was ever so sensible about it and realised the exam was more important but I really felt for her.

Just wanted to come back and say Thank you for all your help - I didn't have a very good weekend, felt really down. I had planned on wearing a navy blue and lilac outfit but on Monday morning I discovered that there was a dress code - as red as blood, as white as snow, as black as night! so had to drastically rethink and then the weather was really cold so decided on black trousers, cream blouse and a red linen jacket, covered all bases. Had a little problem with getting our tickets and red carpet passes when we arrived as no one had told us that we should have collected them by 5 and we arrived at 5.15, but eventually a really nice security guard took it upon himself to help us and by 5.45 we were on the red carpet and took lots of pictures - but we were so busy having a great time didnot get any of ourselves. We then walked down the red carpet, and into the odeon row K right in the middle the film was excellent - not normally my cup of tea but I really did enjoy myself for the first time in a long while. arrived home late and tired but if I had the opportunity would do it all again - DH told me that he was so proud of me for leaving my comfort zone. Thank you for all your kind wishes.

Sounds as though you had a lovely time, so glad you managed to go and really enjoy yourself, I would have loved to have been there:goodvibes

Hi Snookhams, like you I've been away from the boards for quite some time, funny how we both came back on around the same time. I've been busy getting over cheating ex-husband, divorcing, moving house and having a lovely time with my daughter and our new family (lovely man of some 13 months now:)).

How is your son the swimmer doing?

Glad you're starting to feel better, when you get down it can be very difficult to get back up, but sounds as though the Red Carpet treat has really done you good.

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary too :lovestruc
