If you mean like a steak or roast instead of ground beef, these are our 2 favorites. (Both are easy & delicious!)
Drip Beef Sandwich
3-4 lb roast
2 c water
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp cardamom
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
to taste Kitchen Bouquet
a few drops of Liquid Smoke
4 beef bouillon cubes
or
4 tsp instant bouillon
3 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbl oregano
½ Tbl rosemary
2 Tbl seasoning salt
Place in roast in crock pot & sprinkle spices over it. Add water
around the roast, and cook all night. Remove roast and pour juices in a bowl. Put the bowl in freezer until fat hardens. Remove fat by skimming off the top.
Pour juices back in the crock pot. Shred roast and put back in crock pot. Cook on low until ready to serve.
It's really good on french rolls and a bowl of Au Jus. We usually put horseradish sauce on the rolls too. Yummy! BTW - I'm notorious for not having all ingredients & not noticing until
after I've started. So I omit ingredients all the time - except garlic....I never run out of that!

It's still good - just different every time.
FLANK STEAK MARINADE
from Bomas
Yield: enough to marinate about 1½ lb steak
¼ c ginger
½ Tbl thyme
2 Tbl garlic, minced
¾ tsp turmeric, ground
2 Tbl sugar
¾ tsp crushed pepper
¾ tsp cardamom, ground
¼ c soy sauce
½ Tbl coriander, ground
½ Tbl Worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Add flank steak and marinate for 24 hours. (Although 8 is enough to get a good taste, 24 is much better!)
[NOTE: This is very thick more like a paste than a normal marinade.]
