Going in Oct. and have a value reserved, but I can't remember if the beds are better at the moderates. I'm usally so tired it doesn't matter, but this is the night after we get off the DCL and I would like a good nights sleep before an early flight home.

For a fluffier, more comfortable bed, I just might upgrade.

Totally...yes. I remember going in Jan 2001 and we stayed in ASM for two nights, then went to CSR and the first thing I noticed was the diffence in beds. My DH thinks I'm nuts and a snob. But I swear the beds are fluffier at the Moderates. The ones at the value reminded me of the generic Holiday Inn Express kind of thing.

my opinion is that it's luck of the draw coupled w/maybe figuring out which resort is newest/most recently refurbished as those beds will be newer... our beds at pop were incredibly comfortable... perhaps because it was a new hotel and they'd been hardly slept in? BUT! if you want to guarantee a comfy fluffy bed, go w/the swan as they have the pillowtop beds... anything else, it just depends on luck...

The beds at CSR seem very high now. CSR was just rehabbed so they may have gotten new matresses.

The best beds we have ever had have been at POP also, and we have tried almost every disney resort.
