Beds at Value vs. Moderates

Hi. I'm new here & this is my first thread. I have a very specific question. Is there a difference in mattress quality between the value resorts and the moderate resorts? I know this is a silly question but we are trying to decide if we should upgrade from our last visit. Our chief complaint was that the beds in Pop Century were so hard that we barely slept. If the beds are same in the moderates we will not upgrade just for aesthetics. I've called reservations and they didn't know the answer and I've tried to research this online but didn't find anything specific about bed QUALITY (just size of bed). I know this sounds picky but we are staying longer for this trip and I cannot imagine going without sleep again. Has anyone noticed a difference in the beds? Thanks.

All of the rooms at All Star Music were recently refubished and have the new pillowtop mattress. We thought they were very comfotable and many other DIS'ners have also reported how comfortable they are.

AS Music has replaced all their bedding with the pillow-top mattresses. I need an accessible room and can share that the king beds at Pop have all been like sleeping on concrete while the ones at ASMu feel quite luxurious. ASSports is now undergoing a renovation so perhaps they'll also have the nicer beds. Pop will probably eventually get them too- until they do I'm sticking with AS Music for a value resort. Gotta sleep.---Kathy

Just returned from Pop and the beds were great in our room! Quilted top and very comfy.
