So I think we are going to try the HoJo for out next trip to Disneyland...we've heard so many good things about it so thought we'd try it out!

My question, I've read quite a few threads and I may have missed this but how are the beds...comfort wise? Do you have to get a premium room to get a comfy bed or do the standard rooms have nice beds as well? We are thinking about just going with the standard doubles since we are barely ever in the room anyways but I do enjoy a good night sleep so wondering if I need to upgrade or not. The HoJo site states only pillowtop matresses in the premium view rooms and suites....so am I to take it that the std and dlx rooms don't have this feature? Hmmm....decisions!

To all that have spent the extra - is it really worth it? If not in room for more then just sleeping and eat no meals in room is the extra features worth the extra $20/night?

Thanks for any advice! So exciting!

Don't know about the double bed rooms, but I do know they have replaced all the beds in Building 2 and we find them reasonably comfortable. Those are the deluxe rooms, so $10 more expensive than the double bed rooms, with the entertainment rate.

The deluxe beds are FABULOUS. I usually have issues w/beds, but I sleep like a baby when at HoJo's!

I've only slept in the premium rooms on the very very perfect beds, and it is worth an extra $20 a night I would say. I really enjoy looking out the window over the park late at night when everyone in my family is sleeping - so in combination with the more comfy bed, the Disney View, AND being in building one which is closest and has the gift shop right downstairs, I wouldn't go anything other than premium since it's only a little more per night.

I always ask at check in for a room with the newer comfy beds, and so far I have had great luck, last time I got a room with two double beds that had the newer comfy mattresses, not all the rooms have these beds so just ask, they are always so accommodating there, and I have never had a problem getting these beds

Great! Thanks for all the input! We were thinking about the double room simply because we have two young children who we usually have to each sleep with one while traveling and so we don't need a huge bed...but I do want a comfortable bed too - I am actually calling in to the HoJo tomorrow so I'll ask what my options are regarding the bed situation!

Thanks again!

We've stayed in every category of rooms they have and I have always found the beds to be very comfortable!

We always choose the pavilion rooms which are the doubles, we've never had any issues sleeping and we have a really comfy bed at home. :)
