These are some classic Disney movies and shorts that I grew up watching but i never see them referenced in the parks. Have i overlooked them or have they been referenced in the park years ago?

One of the shops on main street has Osh Popham as the proprietor which is a reference to the 1963 movie Summer Magic. As others have stated, there isn't necessarily an attraction related to these older movies, but if you keep your eyes open you'll sometimes find somewhat obscure references.

You are not overlooking them. I think they used to have the Robin Hood characters around the parks when they roamed free. Not so much anymore. I think those stories are not considered to be mainstream like the rest and are not featured. Hey, maybe a good idea for an exhibit at HS????
Remember the Black Cauldron ride?! Yeah, neither do I...
The Rescuers? (Seems to me they could do an Evinrude at DW in the seven seas lagoon...)
Chernobog? (Actually the centaurs from Fantasia would do pretty well as an attraction in Animal Kingdom...)
Treasure Planet? The Great Mouse Detective? The Cat from Outerspace?
We saw them the last week of January 2013. It was "Long Lost Friends" week Limited Time Magic and they were one of 4 sets of characters out. Pretty long line, but it was nice to see them.
Some of the older parades used to feature some random assortment of older characters (e.g., SpectroMagic had a whole Chernabog float). I thought a long ago version of the Electric Parade might have had either Prince John or the King of Naboombu (I could never tell quite which one he was), but it might have been over at DLR.
At best there might be some small reference/decoration for some of the older animated movies, but not something obvious.
