I am just curious about the bedding on the Magic. Does anyone remember if they use the double sheet system (where there are 2 sheets over the blanket, one on top and one on the bottom) so your face doesn't touch the actual blanket. Or do they have a duvet? Or just a standard sheet with blanket and bedspread? While I am on the subjet...Does anyone know how often they wash the blankets??

Thanks- T

As far as I can remember it is a sheet, then blanket, then a bedspread over that for during the day.

We just got off the Magic yesterday. They did the sheet, blanket, sheet and then had the comforter over that.
I hope this answers your question.

Ditto to what goofytwo said. And we know that they changed the sheets several times during the trip, as DS and DD changed beds each night, and my DD freguently fell asleep holding her nightly chocolate (which then melted onto the sheets.

Thanks guys, I have a bit of a "thing" with hotel beds. I get a little creaped out by unknown germs. This DEFINATELY helps.

As you can see in this picture, our beds were not "triple sheeted". You can see the blanket is on top, not a third sheet. Maybe they triple sheet in the suites, not sure.

P.S. Our beds at the Polynesian two weeks ago were triple sheeted, so this is something I definitely notice.

ours were sheet, blanket, sheet on the Oct 29th....so was the Radisson at the Port FYI

This is good news, apparently they've started to triple sheet the beds on the Magic. And yes, the Radisson at the Port was great, much nicer than I had anticipated it would be. :flower:

(Or was our stateroom host lazy and didn't triple sheet our bed when he should've been?!?!) :confused3

Thank you for asking this question. I have an allergy to dust mites and was thinking of packing my own sheets. Who would you suggest I discuss my problem with so that I can get my sheets changed daily. (Atleast for my bed?)

I was curious so I looked back at our pictures and this past April on the Magic, our bed was triple sheeted, but the two "bunk" beds were not. They did fold the sheet over the top of the blanket and the beds were made so tight that the kids just slipped in and they were so tired they hardly moved so I guess that was fine for them. Seems like it might be protocol to triple sheet, but it just does not get done all the time by every steward.

Just talk to your room steward. They will do whatever you need them to do. They are wonderful and deserve every tip they get.
