Do all of the WDW Disney-owned resorts use the same mattresses and pillows?
If NOT, where do you think is most comfortable and why?

First, mattress feel is a big personal opinion what I like you may find too firm etc.
Secondly, WDW mattresses get a lot of use and can depend on when they were last replaced.
Also, we have stayed in resort rooms where the two beds felt totally different.
I will say that a lot of people seem to like the beds at the Swolphin.

Ah, I have heard that but know they are not part of Disney and have their own product line. Just wondering if Disney brand itself has any separation amongst the different resorts. But you make good points.

The Westin Heavenly bed at the Swan was the best on property. The Marriott mattress is good, but not as good as the old beds.

We also like the mattress on DCL. Sleep so well on the ship, but some of that may be due to the movement.

Just curious about the Disney-owned resort beds for now. Thanks! :)

Basically, I guess my question is...is your bed at Poly or Yacht Club going to be the same as at Pop?

There's no way to know what you are going to get, even in deluxe. Disney uses Sealy, but they don't release what kind or what goes in what resort. They also swap them on different schedules, so even if they did, it might not be what you get, or you might get a worn one.

I'd describe them as mediocre, even in Poly, which is $800/night. I honestly liked the AoA Little Mermaid bed better. This is not a place where Disney resorts shine, if this is your criteria. I currently have Hyatt status, and used to have Marriott, and I would say both are better than Disney.

Does anyone know if the Disney matresses are memory foam or springs? The bed i stayed in Coranado Springs was so comfy!
As of late last year, no beds have memory foam.

We really liked the mattress at POP when we stayed last November, we even wrote the information. Sealy mattress Model: 514874 Prototype ID: AR04

Just back from the BCV - Studio. We loved the Queen mattress so much we peeked at what it was. Simmons Beautyrest Recharge.

I don't know about the best mattress but I can tell you the absolute worst was room 3910 at Caribbean Beach. It's one of the pirate rooms.

I've heard that mentioned before about the Swan mattresses-some folks really do rave about them.

The only mattress I have slept on at a Disney resort that I did not enjoy was the main bed at AoA. I was in a Cars suite and it was hard as a rock. But some people like them extra firm. I like supportive but with some give, and found the Murphy at AoA to be more comfortable. I have enjoyed the beds at Pop and ASM since their renovations. The most comfortable bed was at CR, but they have probably replaced those by now.

Same here! We’ve stayed in Cars and LK and they were both crazy hard—and I like a firm mattress. Dolphin has been the best we’ve found on property. As others have said, there are so many variables of what you might get, I definitely wouldn’t base a resort choice on it.
