Kind of embarrassed to even ask this, but my DD has been doing really well with peeing on the potty (finally!).
However, she is not confident enough to wear underwear, she still wears the pull ups.
At night she wears goodnites and some nights she will wet the bed, it was not often but not it has happened maybe 3xs in one month.
Don't know what to do while at the world....?

If your daughter is only 4, I would think that the regular Pull-Ups would still fit her. If they do, then the Goodnites are too big for her and more likely to leak.

Personally I have always recommended that parents keep the kids in diapers at night as long as possible, since they protect much much better than pull-ups. Some kids can not do Pull-ups at night because of leaking problems and have to continue diapers at night. As a side note, Diapers are a LOT cheaper than pull-ups.

When my godson was younger and had a bedwetting problem, he would leak through pull-ups, but was too old for diapers. When we traveled, I brought along pieces of plastic or plastic trash bags to put on the bed so he wouldn't wet the mattress.

We the DD's were younger and I was having this issue I would pack a disposible plastic paint drop sheet. They are plenty big enough to cover a double/queen bed.(You can buy them at a dollar store or if in a pinch home depot sells them as well...just a little pricier).
I would also ask Mousekeeping for a couple of extra sheets and would just tuck them away in a drawer or shelf. This way I did not have to call Mousekeeping in the middle of the night in order to remake the bed because of an accident.:thumbsup2

I know I will be flamed for this but my DD when she was training did great except at night when she wore a pull up to bed and almost every morning there was varying amounts of urine in the pull up.

My neice told me if she wore regular underwear to bed she would wet the bed a few times but then she would learn to wake up and ask to go potty - so I tried it and after 3 accidents - DONE - never another incident again.

Of course all children are different and when they stop having night accidents varies but for us it worked like a charm.

I tried this approach as well and while it worked at home I sometimes found that the stress of travelling and the excitement of WDW sometimes made for the occasional accident.

I bought a package of waterproof pads at Babies r us (they also have them at target but they are nicer and and softer at babies r us) there are 2 in a pack and I just put them underneath my son when he goes to bed. It really protects the bed (not from a full accident, but from leaks) I also reccomend using diapers at night, my son tried the goodnights and they leaked all over and he woke up crying from being soaking wet. They are useless in my opinion. SO for your trip, just bring the pads, and put her in a diaper and everything should be fine. I wouldn't start new routines and try and get her to be dry through the night just for Disney.

My DD is almost 5 and has never really wet the bed on a regular basis but maybe once every 3 months if she's really tired or we forget to make sure she pees before bed then she will have an accident. We have never made a big deal of it. But when we travel I do get her to wear a pull up "just incase", she doesn't mind. I would feel terrible if we soiled a hotel mattress bed and she would rather wear a "just incase" pull up than use an uncomfortable, hot plastic sheet protector. Truthfully she wears the same one for 3 or 4 nights until it wears out. So I only have to bring a handful. She's only 30lbs so size 5 pull ups are plenty big enough. She has almost never needed them on regular vacations but I suspect that during our WDW trip next winter she'll be so exhausted by the end of the day that I'll get her to wear one at night just in case.:rolleyes1

my ds is 12 and even now still has an accident (dh did too at that age so ped says it is okay that sooner or later he will finally get it and be dry all the time) every once in awhile and yes last Nov he did have an accident at the world. Because of this we bought some disposable underpads (that the elderly use) at Sam's and took them with us to use in the bed at the resort. Even using that the bed still was damp. We left a note for mousekkeeping and a little extra tip for the day. When we ret'd that night bed was clean and dry.

My dd 8 still wets the bed every once in awhile, usually when she's really overtired. When I travel, I bring a plastic bed cover and put it on her bed just in case.

they make actual plastic sheets that fit over the mattress and would be a lot safer than this option.

My daughter likes to put things over her face at night, like her blanket, and putting a plastic trash bag in bed with a small child is a strangulation hazard. I use a fitted vinyl sheet under the fitted cloth sheet and I have never had a stain on a mattress.

After a long, exciting day at WDW, you have no idea what's going to happen at night with potty training. DD wears goodnights - I check her when I go to sleep, and if it's somewhat full, I make her get up, go potty, and put a fresh pullup on. If she still wets through, it's nowhere as severe and hasn't soaked through. I'll strip the bed down for mousekeeping as well if it needs changing.

We've also discovered that leakage is much more commin in shortie pjs than in nightgowns - so we leave the shorties at home.
