Bed Sheets - Thread Count ?

The jersey knit sheets are good too. I do have a couple of those...

Hmmm, I got some sateen sheets on clearance from Amazon, with a pretty high thread count. They wrinkle like crazy! I can't stand them. While I like how soft they are, I realized, I prefer the crispness & look of percale. They give the sheets more body & don't wrinkle.

I have this same problem. I bought 600 TC. Took them immediately out of the dryer and they came out looking like they had been rolled up in a ball and stuff in a bag for a couple of months. yuck. I'm disappointed. Kind of crisp too. I'm hoping with a few more washings they'll lose the crispness.

I don't care at all for the jersey or t-shirt sheets. They are great to begin with, but then they start pilling up and to me it felt like a thousand little pebbles in my bed - go ahead and call me the princess and the pea, DH has said that for years - I CANNOT stand for the sheets to be dishelved or any pilling on the sheets....
