bed rails

I saw a special last night that said all of the Disney resorts offer bed rails. Do they always have plenty available and is there a fee???

We were able to get bed rails at Pop & POR at no charge. When we requested them prior to our trip, they told us that it is only a request & they can't guarantee the bed rails. So, I'm not sure how many each resort has, but they were doubles (for both sides of the bed).

Great info. I didn't know they offered them. I never even thought of that. We took our kids last yr, ages 4 & 3 and our 3 yr old feel out of the bed a few times while we were there. She had a scrap over her nose. We propped pillows up for her so she wouldn't hit her head. We are going in April for her
4th b-day and I am still concerned about that so I will request them. Thanks

Wow awesome information, we leave soon and I was worried about our 2 year old, we aren't going to do a crib. Hubby will sleep with one and I will sleep with the other but still worried about him falling out. Perfect timing, thanks.

We requested 3 bedrails last year for our Poly room and had no problem.
DGS was 3 and DGD was 5. DGS slept in the Queen bed with 2 bedrails and DGD slept on the Daybed with 1 bedrail. They are high quality and we were very pleased.

We were able to get 2 bedrails at the Contemporary in 2006.

I request 2 rails everytime we go, its great for the kids and I sleep a little easier knowing they wont fall off the bed, there is no fee and you can ask when you check in or call Housekeeping....

I think it is important for everyone to get them for their little kids. When we were at POR five years ago my DS (then 5 years old) fell out of bed and split his lip open on the bed frame the first night of our trip. It was horrible. We had the ambulance come, and before they would send the paramedics, they had security come and interview us, and they took my husband off to question him (while going to the resort store to buy tylenol)Ya, like we would beat our son while we were sleeping at 12:30 am. Everyone, for days looked at us like we had beat him!!! A tough lesson learned....If you have small kids, definitely request the bedrails!!!

We were able to get bedrails at WL. I was so worried my kids would fall out and the beds are high so the fall would be pretty bad. I went straight to the check in desk and made my request and they were delivered in 20 minutes. I don't think I would have slept all week without them.
