Bed rail question

How soon before your trip did you call your resort to request bed rails on one of the beds? We leave within the next 30 days and are staying at the Poly.

We call months in advance. However, when you check in you still have to remind them. We have always got them quickly.

Whenever I make our reservations, I request one then. However, I always remind the CMs at check-in, and one is sent to our room asap. I learned to remind them, since one was not waiting for us in our room when I just made the reservations over the phone. Have a wonderful trip!

We've stayed at the AKL and Poly and have just called when we got there. No problems.

Like others have said, just have it noted on your reservation. There have been times when we've had it noted and bed rails were waiting in our room, other times we've had to call housekeeping to get some sent up.

This. I requested them when I made the initial reservation months in advance. However, they were not there when we got to the room. We just called and they sent someone down with them right away. They offered to set them up but my DS was already asleep on the bed so I just did it later that night.

Can someone post a pic of a resort bed with rails? DD will be 2.5 for our next trip, and I'm trying to get an idea if the rails will work if we should request a crib or pack & play again...

We have a 2.5 year old who will be 2.9 at Disney. Sleeping a crib now but planning to transition to a bed in July. Last time we rented a crib at Disney but she will be too big this time. We were planning on DD and I in one bed with a rail and snoring DH in the other bed. Nervous that she wont settle with me sleeping with her - but hopefully so tired she will sleep.

also interested of bedrail pic and have a 2.5 yr old that may or may not be using them in the bed w/ big sis 7. hmmm actually now that I say that... that may be dangerous dd7 is a heavy rough sleeper! may be better off renting a small toddler bed from that company (babys best friend?)

I just called to add bed rails for our August vacation. They said they would add it but you dont need to. They have lots on hand and you can just ask for one when you arrive.

We used Baby's best friend for our crib last year. They were really good- crib was clean and it came on time. No worries.
