Bed height problems at WDW

Last time I measured the ADA beds at SSR they were around 20 inches. my optimum bed height is 19-21 inches. Anything lower and I have to lean on something to get up. Higher and I need to climb on a telephone book to get in.
Nope. I got my first one at CVS, and two more at acehardware.com or acehardware.net (free delivery-to-store). The E-Z Foldz stepstool, comes in three colors, holds up to 300 pounds, 9" high. I pack one in my suitcase, keep one in the kitchen and the third in my car.

It worked well. Instead of having to hassle with the hotel for a lower bed/mattress, or sleep on the loveseat - I was able to get into bed, safely (and without security coming into my room ;)).

Thank you so much for this thread!

I need to call AKL and make sure that we can get a good bed height for Rachel's trip. I had not even thought about this!

We are not doing a HA room because they did not have any Savannah View Bunk Bed HA rooms available (they have NO roll in shower rooms with that designation) - so they are just going to provide a bath chair and hand held shower head.

Thanks for posting this thread! :)

I know that in AKV-Kidani, the beds were all real tall. I stand 5'4" and the bed was up to my waist. That was great for packing and unpacking, but I could see how people would have problems getting in and out.
