Bed for American Girl!

Where is the best deal on a bed that would fit American Girl? Not the brass that didn't hold up.

I was just in target and they have a futon/bed for their version of the american girl (the generation girl???) anyway, it was cute, I saw it in either blue or purple it was $14.99 - don't know if that is what you are looking for but it is an option. They also had a foldable foam bed w/headboard and pillows for the "generation girl" that would fit the american girl dolls so I bought that one for my dd today - it was also on sale for $8/or so.

On disneyshopping they have that princess canopy bed, armoire, etc. It is normally $99, but with the 40% off princess stuff,(the code works with this). So it is $59. I am thinking about ordering it too.

I'm getting the Futon or foam set at Target. They are on sale this week for $7.49 and $14.99 for the futon is regular price, they look nice though. Not the period type pieces that AG actually sell though. Did they have futons in the 1900's?

I bought the Disney Girl bedroom suite from Disney Catalog last week. We haven't put it together yet, but I opened the box and it looks so cute. The comforter and pillow are adorable. I can't wait to see it all together. I think with 40% off, it's a great deal. We have bought a few of their children's tables and room furniture and it has all been great quality.

I like the American Girl 3-in-1 bed but just can't bring myself yet to spend that amount of money...

I'm still debating on what to do.

Try Target.com there are two very cute beds for American Doll Types. They are web only specials - not in the stores.

One is a bunk bed - white with pink gingham bedding and a ladder $34.99
The other is a canopy for $29.99

Both are made from wood composites and did a good job of being likeable to the 6 year old and the 10 year old. I think they are good prices for beds with bedding.

I ordered the canopy bed/dresser from Disney! Great deal, better then anything I saw on EBay. DVC offers a 20% discount too, but I couldn't get it to work. Anyone know how to do that? I bought a lot of stuff from them the day before too!
