Booked room 9510 on the Fantasy ( I know this boat is not out yet, but I am assuming it will be the same as on the Dream ) anyway, There is one review regarding this room on the Dream and it says no murphy bed and only sleeps 4... It is an 8B Deluxe Family oceanview room with 241sq. I will be traveling with DH, DS (tall 14 year old) and DD (9 years old) Is this room going to be sufficient? King bed? what other beds or sleeping arrangements? Will have 4 people in room but again son is rather tall..... I am also curious if it is in a good location?? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We had a family cabin that slept 4 people and the beds were a queen, the flip over sofa and the pull down berth above the sofa.

Our son is VERY tall (6'6") and combined with the fact we have 4 kids total we always get two connecting rooms. He gets a Queen bed (and the ability to truly stretch out) and the girls get the other beds. We have done CAT 4, but this time we are doing two CAT 8's -- I checked online very carefully to make sure one of them slept 5, so DH and I get a room to ourselves ;) :lovestruc ;)

There is a thread that someone did that lists every CAT 8 with the bed configuration -- if I find it I will embed it.

We stayed in 9510 on Dream this Aug. We were 4 adults and there were bunk beds, a bed that came out of the wall and a couch that turned into a bed. Our 16 and 24 yr old slept on the bunk beds. My 24 yr old DS said his feet were hanging over the end of the bunk bed, but he said the bed was comfortable and that didn't bother him. They close up during the day. There was a queen for us. As for location, it was near the front of the ship but everytime we forgot which staircase to use and we kept walking the lenght of the ship. lol! But their were elevators right there also. We didn't hear any noise at all.

Thank you very much! I am glad to hear from someone who actually stayed in the room... I am sure the Fantasy is set up the same way.. Thanks again!!
