I own and run a bed and breakfast inn in Wisconsin. I am leaving for WDW in three weeks and I want to have breakfast at several places that are great! Where in your opinion is the best place for breakfast in all of Disneyworld? Great food or original breakfast dishes are what I'm looking for. I can usually figure out how it's made. Always trying to learn more, try new things and become a better cook! Thanks for any help you can give.

A big favorite of everyone is Kona Cafe at the Poly. There are two outstanding breakfast dishes ~ Tonga Toast which is a banana stuffed french toast and the Macademia Nut pineapple pancakes. :cloud9: These would be awesome.

there are also tons of disney recipes here onthe cooking board. Disney is great about sharing their recipes.

let us know what you bring back to the B&B!

It always seems to me that most breakfasts - even at WDW - all have the same basic offerings. Even at Animal Kingdom Lodge it seems the majority of items could be found just about anywhere. However, their juice combination was outstanding when we had it! I understand that it's changed its name from Frunch to Jungle Juice & the recipe is somewhat different, but people who have had both say they're both great! (The ratios were different for the Frunch & it included some grenadine.) Boma also has Corned Beef Boboti, Cured Pork Loin & Pap. I make the pork loin for dinner quite often - it's really good! :teeth:

Chef Mickey's has Goofy's Veggie Lasagna and the Crystal Palace has Breakfast Lasagna which is built with pancakes & waffles.

A couple really good things that I'm not sure are still on the menu, but are included in our "Official" Disney Recipe Exchange thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1575103) are:

Strawberry Banana Bread from the Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Lodge French Toast (Blueberry - similar to Tonga Toast w/o bananas)

Here is a link to the index for the recipe thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1777635
In the first two posts the index is divided by course & there's a section for "Breakfast" that might help you.
