Becoming Lean, Mean, Endurace Event Machines in 2008

Stopping in to post my miles and time from tonight.

Debra~ I don't often go without lunch.. just when I have to. For instance, today I had a nice salad from Saladworks. I didn't feel much worse not having had any during the previous run. I will try to do better just to please you. :goodvibes

Maria~ I am not so speedy in the grand scheme of things. I am poor excuse. I don't even coming close to men older than me and still in my age group at 5K events or those winners from even older categories. There are some fast men (and women) out there. I do not work on speed. I am working now on endurance.

Here is my info for tonight:

Miles: 4
Time: 36:38
Pace: 9:09

Splits
:
9:04
9:24
9:12
8:56

Have a great evening!

Debra: my son is a big David Lynch fan. A few years ago his favorite movie was Lost Highway...also Mulholland Drive and what was his other big one? Personally, I think DL is just a tad too over the top for me. I never fully "get it" .....we're probably not supposed to, but I like things wrapped up in nice little packages and my son, the filmie doesn't. He also loves the Saw movies which I have never seen because I don't like violence and gore. Some others I can recall:City of the Lost Children, Pan's Labyrinth, Magnolia, the Orphanage, anything Star Wars (of course!) and a whole bunch of others the titles of which have escaped me right now.
BTW, Carson Kressley is the blonde, very flamboyant member of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." I'm SURE you know who he is now!

Maria: too funny about the potty talk on speaker phone! Which reminds me.....the Greek gets a little upset with my daughter because, at 24, she still says I have to "go potty." Well, I was not aware of this beforehand, but we were in a Detroit casino together and all of a sudden I said "I'll be right back....I have to go potty." He gave me such a look I thought for sure the wedding was off! At least now he knows it's not HER fault. :rotfl:

Dave/Erica: just listening to my Jakob Dylan CD.......there's one song that makes me think of you two everytime I hear it. It's called "Something Good This Way Comes" Are you familiar with it?

Not sure I've ever heard the song but I'll look for it. Thanks for thinking about us Jeanne. We think you and John are awesome.

Happy Panda:hippie:

Good morning Lean Meaners!

Sorry I've been MIA. It's been a sad, and busy couple of weeks.

1/2 marathon training started this week. My race is on Nov. 15. I got in a whopping 2 miles on Wednesday and stadium runs last night. Strength training in scheduled for today.

I'm not going to attempt to catch up.

Everyone - Keep up with the great work!!

Have a great weekend!

:)

Welcome back Vic, sounds like you are off to a good start. GO Vic!!!:yay:

I have my first race of the season coming up on the 9th of Aug. It's a little country race in Franklin Ky, but they have a seperate walk race and run race and the last few years it's had racewalkers from three states. They have prize money and great trophys. So 8 days till "Game On". We shall see how my workout ideas stack up. The race will be killer hot and lots of hills. Like the 5K from hell.

Howard you are putting in some consistant times, that's important when you can control your training pace you can control your racing pace. Are you, Craig and Charley going to run together in the Goofy?:worship:

Debra, have I told you how much I enjoy reading your posts?

Maria, Amy, Beth, Lisa, Jeanne and Stacie are you guys saving a hug for the Panda? Anyone I missed gets two hugs.:grouphug:

I did my pilates, calistetics and stretching barefoot this morning. It makes your feet and ankles work harder without the support of the shoes. I think the stretches are deeper also. I think I'll start doing them barefoot everyday after I do my walk training and weights.

Walk/run/rest/love strong y'all.

Walking Panda:hippie:

Hey Lean Mean Brigade!

I have a fresh start, and I'm lovin' it! :lovestruc I got up at 5:30 and did 2 mi on the TM, then got to work early again and walked for almost an hour, until a co-worker showed up. Don't they know I need them to be late?! :lmao:

I made a workout log for August, with either a time or a distance goal for each activity. I have two workouts every day -- each for about half an hour. The mornings are for the TM, and in the evenings I'm either on the exercise bike or doing weights. I still have my LWs on weekends. I don't think it's too strenuous, but of course I saved it on the computer so I can modify it if I need to. I think breaking it up like this will really help. I just don't have an hour all at once to work out during the week. I get frustrated when I can't do what I planned, and that never leads to a good place. I'm just going to keep tweaking until I get it right!

I'm also counting points, and I even entered my weight online with WW. It wasn't pretty, but it's a fresh start! One smoothie down, one healthy lunch to go!

Vic -- So glad to see you posting here. You have been in all our thoughts. Still sending continued prayers and pixiedust:

Dave -- Now, see when I think of you, I think "Something Wicked This Way Comes"... Of course, in NE wicked is a positive adjective, meaning you are awesome (and ok, maybe a little naughty!) ;) Thanks for the stretching reminder, I need that, too!

Howard -- Please do not refer to yourself as a poor excuse! My fragile ego cannot take it. I think I'm doing great when I clock 14:30 for a mile... ::yes:: You are a great role model, just accept it!

Jeff -- Thanks for the reminder not to overtrain. When I have one of these "fresh starts", I tend to go overboard, get injured, and wind up right back where I was :headache:

Jeanne-- Ok, I may still use that phrase occasionally, too, but not on speakerphone! Hey, think how he'd react if you hadn't potty trained her! At least you did your job! :upsidedow

Debra -- I am officially on a break from hard core reading. Plenty of Rachel Gibson in my August future. I do have one Orson Scott Card, but other than that I am as fluffy as a cloud :cloud9: I need a break, it's hot, and I have too much hard stuff to do at work. My reading has to be about relaxing and not actually thinking...that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean! I also do not stretch before I move -- I thought that was a no-no? See how much I need guidance! Probably a simple question -- If I eat fish, did I have a vegetarian day? I don't think of it as meat, but maybe I should? :confused3

Beth -- Please do keep the tips coming. Need the reminders, I do! :yoda: Vegetarian day did not leave me hungry at all. I'm going to start trying to do that at least once a week. It can't hurt! I am not a huge meat eater, anyway.

Amykab -- The Twilight books are first up for me in Sept., assuming they come from the library when requested. I may get on the list now, I suspect it's long. I am also glad to hear you have an exit plan at work. I had a job situation once that I had to leave because I was miserable -- I came home and cried every day after work. Anyway, we made a plan, and I got out, and I vowed to never be that unhappy at work again. I may be ridiculously busy and annoyed, but I'll never be miserable. Life's too short, and there is always a better job for you to be had...:thumbsup2

Stacie -- How is the reprioritizing going? I am exactly where you are. Something always gets in the way of my workout. I am putting an end to that. It really is ok to put yourself first. :cheer2:

Hi and Happy August to all the Lean Meaners!

Maria :woohoo:

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone's Friday is off to a good start! I did pilates last night. DD was drinking her bottle next to me while I was doing it and I swear she was trying to mimic some of the exercises! W3D3 today for me. and possibly a long walk on the beach tomorrow. Supposed to be kinda overcast, so that will keep the heat down. We live only about 5 miles +a short boat ride from this years #1 beach in the US (at least according to Dr.Beach) Caladesi island is beautiful. Most times when we go out there we find at least 100 sand dollars.

I am totally :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: about the release of breaking dawn at midnight! (Debra/Maria I am a sucker for spoilers and did read the official one on the EW site. Actually I consider it a spoilerette, and was more excited about when she said the spoiler takes place in the book since I think the placement bodes well for plenty of action and twists in the story. :cool1:

I also inadvertently came across an unauthorized supposedly true spoiler...What I found most amusing was people's reactions to something that may or may not be true. Some were in an absolute tizzy! Also, apparently books were sold early somewhere and people scanned in 14 chapters! ( I didn't read them). How totally illegal AND who has time to do that??! I can't wait to see the twilight message boards explode when they become active again on Monday. (most have been closed for weeks to try and cut down on spoilers)

Vic Glad to see you back! Sounds like training is starting off well!

Dave Thanks for the tip about going barefoot!

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: for everyone!

Have a great weekend!

Hey guys! Just wanted to pop in really quickly and wish everyone a great weekend. I also wanted to share the following quote (which I shared on the weekly thread as well...

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face...You must do the thing you think you cannot do. -Eleanor Roosevelt

I think this applies to a lot of us in our training (or in life). How many of us woke up one day and said... Sure! I can do a 5K, 15K, Half, Marathon or Goofy! I know I certainly did not. I'm training for something I never thought possible. Said..."It's great for those people that do it, but that's not for me" Well, Here I am. I will be one of those people has done an endurance event. Something I never thought possible.

We are all to be commended for our goals and putting forth the effor to try.

Stacie

Vic:  to you. I'm glad to hear you're getting your training in during this time. I know how sad you are and how difficult times are right now. I hope you find that time spent with your thoughts on the road and/or TM helps you get through things. I know I find it to be true for myself, and wish the best for you.

Jeanne: Ooooh, a new film to add to my Netflix queue! I just put Orphanage on my list, right after Robot Chicken Star Wars. :rotfl: I think David Lynch's Blue Velvet was the first film I saw where I said, "This is a great film, but I'm not enjoying watching it one bit." Very dark and creepy and much too adult for me when I first saw it (1986).

"I have to go potty."
OMG, I laughed so hard when I visualized this exchange that I almost had to go....to the ladies room. Nope, it doesn't have the same zing. So, are wedding plans progressing nicely? :rolleyes1

Aloha Jeff: Oh, I know when the DL 1/2 is, still sighing over that one. But I figured if anyone would figure out a way to spend his last month training on-site, it would be you! :woohoo: of receiving your waiver. Your weekend sounds beautiful, of course, and beach camping delightful. Take care of that PF, and bring us back Dole Whip pics on your return. Hey, I do live in a virtual reality you know, so the substitute's almost as good as the real thing.

Howard: And you know your running is all about me, don't you? ;) :rotfl: I'm very happy to see you eating rabbit food. As in, quick as a rabbit. See, I think you are speedy. That's why you need to hang out here on the Lean Meaner thread with me and Maria and everyone. Consider us your very own set of groupies! More important is Dave's point--you're incredibly consistent in your pace. Nice!

Dave: Oh, I like the song Jeanne picked for you and Erica! :thumbsup2 Your first race of the season is coming right up! :woohoo: It sounds like your "little country race" is getting a lot of good press, what with racewalkers from 3 states coming in. It must be the company and not the prize money or trophies! :goodvibes I expect great things from you this season, you hear? Great things. Your training and progress has been a joy to learn about, and I learn so much. Barefoot exercise for me, too! (And awww, for the compliment.)

Maria: Ooooh, the August gun's just gone off and you're off and walking! I love hearing your happy and energized--it's the WO lot, isn't it? Your double-dipping plan sounds really cool. I'm trying to do more of that, splitting up my cardio with my core work. It seems less overwhelming to me that way. Do let us know--with frequent updates--how it works for you. A vegetarian who eats fish is called a pescetarian, a word added to this years Merriam-Webster's Dictionary (along with mondegreen, misunderstood lyrics or phrases). So you'd be eating a pescetarian meal, I think. Very healthy, as long as it's not fried catfish! :rotfl:

I understand, I really do, about the reading and not thinking. That's what summer books are for and why there's a beach-read genre! It's the same way with me & book. And movies and television. I like to consider such things texts I think about while I'm engaged with them, but can easily put aside and even forget I've consumed them. That way I save my brain cells for really important things. Like Disney. I swear I need a Ph.D. to get through the booking process and come out with dollars in my wallet.

AmyK: I can feel your excitement about the book release. I'm trying to convince DOOD we should go to our local one. You haven't even read the books, he says. Bah. Who cares? He shook his head at the last Harry Potter release and it had a live owl! :woohoo: I'm such a geek about book releases it doesn't matter to me--readers are cool folk, and I like to be surrounded by them. And I love spoiler/spoilerette hype, too. So controversial. It's almost as good as going to the beach, but not quite. I love sand dollars and think they're quite beautiful. It sounds as if the Caladesi Island area a good place to vacation. And not too far from Disney? (When I'm visiting FL, it all seems close.)

Stacie: It's so great to read this post today. Not only because it's a really great Eleanor Roosevelt quote, but because you provided it. It sounds like you're having a great day & feeling really motivated. I'm so happy for you! :yay:

All Lean Meaners: Enjoy the weekend folks! The dog days of summer are upon us, so it's a good thing I like dogs.

As for me: XT today. Loved it. I never would have tried the virtual bicycles without Howard's encouragement because they're in such demand at my gym. And I hate feeling crowded by the gazers. You know the folks I mean. The ones who make you double check to make sure your clothes aren't riding up and exposing things better left private. But I'll be danged if I don't feel a big difference using those bikes. They're a nice complement to my elliptical training and warm me up for weights. Sweet. They're worth the stare-down.

Mini-goal this weekend--to try a new-to-me running trail DOOD told me about. Wish me luck!

Quick run by...

Reef walking last night was a bust for spearing octopus (for bait). The tide was too high, and winds made the surface choppy, and difficult to see much in the water. So we scoop netted baby mullet to use for baitfish.

Today is Princess #2's first day in kindergarten. No, there was not teary eye moment for me. She's so used to going to Princess #1's school, that she just walked right into the cafeteria for breakfast like she was a regular. Then proceeded to her classroom, and announced to the teacher, "I'm here." No adjustment time needed for this keiki (Hawaiian translation for you mainlanders: keiki: meaning a small "child"). :lmao:

Heading out to the North Shore. Will stop off at Dole Plantation for all you craving a Dole Whip. I know, I know, but somebody's gotta live here, so it might as well be me. :rotfl2:

Two days of not running has eased the tightness in my right arch. Tapering is good, since I have 16 miles slated for Sunday's in the month of August. That's why I'm doing the 5K and the Half marathon, I have to add them together to make 16 miles on the 31st. :rotfl:

But this was really good for me!

4 miles, 35:01.

9:06
8:22
8:06
9:23

for an 8:45 average :woohoo:

I didn't realize that the CDC was next weekend, I have the Naperville Triathlon to do...

Maybe I can meet up with some WISH folks on Friday night if you are in town!

PM me!

I don't claim to be me either. :lmao:

Good going on your miles and minutes. :worship:

Ladies, I appreciate the love.  I am consistent in my pace because that is what I can dish out (maximum effort) 98% of the time. I can find a little extra on race day (local 5K's, etc.) and hit sub-8 miles to begin those races, but finish with a mile of 10:08 pace or something similar. That is why speed is not really my focus. I have never done "speed work" or other more official training for speed.

Maria ~ You should be very proud of your 14:30 mile. I can barely walk a 14:30. I can run it, but I cannot consistently walk it. That takes skills and patience I do not have.

Debra~ I am digging this "groupie" concept. I might have to get Cam's permission to have a couple hot women wanting to be my groupie and get all up in my stuff. (Just go with it.... ;) ) Well, you get the point at least. :rotfl: :lmao: I am flattered as I should be.

Thanks again. You have me hooked on the Lean, Mean, Endurance Machine thread. Today was my day off! I needed it after a stressful first week of my new position at work. I found comfort in a bowl of Black Cherry Ice Cream tonght. Tomorrow I run 6 miles and for Sunday 12. That will be a tough one to fit in with company expected and (shhhhh...) it is Cam's birthday too!

Have a wonderful night!!!

Dave wrote: Howard you are putting in some consistant times, that's important when you can control your training pace you can control your racing pace. Are you, Craig and Charley going to run together in the Goofy?

Dave: There are only a few men on this earth I would choose to run with, Charlie and Craig are two of them.

Frankly, we haven't discussed it. However, I think we are all pretty focused on doing the best we can do individually and not requiring one another to run with someone else. That way we can feel free to zig and zag through the course at our own pace and rest comfortably after the race knowing we gave it our all.

After two consecutive Goofy's, Kevin Z and I are going to run the races in support of each other, but separate to allow each other the opportunity to really go for a PR and/or a time we can be proud of. That is not a decision either of us came to lightly. We are like brothers, close ones. Running marathons with someone does that to you.

I hope that Craig, Charlie, Kevin and I are in the same corral for the races and that we can all support and psych each other up before, during and after the races. However, we'll cross the finish line knowing we ran our race and be able to share our individual experiences with each other. If that is the case, I'll be humbled to be counted among them.

Howard

Aloha Jeff, glad you found the Lean Mean thread. Your posts seem to always be packed with energy, joy, and... fish -- and I love them! Counting the days now until DISNEYLAND!!!!!! I can't wait to see you and your Princess in person.

Howard, you are the man! Tell Cam HBD (Happy Birthday) from Wendy.

Vic, I still feel for you. I WISH there was more I could do.

Jeanne, that's what I love about iTunes -- I previewed the "Look Good Naked" episodes with errrrr... "Rubinesque" women in them and those were the ones I downloaded. Just four episodes -- and it seems like it was a lot of months ago. Again, not an all-time favorite show or anything, but I liked the concept. (Could have been the sappy mood I was in.) I know what you're saying about Carson though. And I am still hedging my bets with the Raleigh City of Oaks marathon. I have an entry and a free pasta dinner for the OBX marathon the NEXT weekend as well -- and there is a supposedly charming little B&B there that's very reasonable in the off season. (I've never tried a B&B and this one comes highly recommended.) Sounds a lot more appealing. I'm telling you -- the hills in Raleigh terrify me! (To me, they are a lot worse than the Run to Victory course.) And the notion that there are VERY few folks at my pace in the full -- whereas I'll have lots of company in the half -- The City of Oaks half was a lot of fun! I'm still sweatin' the decision on the full, but I don't know if DH will let me drive to OBX with the outrageous price of gas. If he'll let me do OBX, then I'll probably join you for the half in Raleigh. Jury is still out -- And will likely be out until a lot closer to November. You're right, though -- I'm currently signed up for the City of Oaks full. I still have no idea what I'll do for my long walk in December -- and if there's a long one on your and John's calendar then, I'd love to drive out and join you. 20 miles on a treadmill just doesn't appeal to me.

Maria -- I'm hearing you on the fresh start! It's a very good thing!

As for me... Tax-free weekend here in NC means I'll go out to do back-to-school shopping in the wee hours of the morning at some 24-hour Wal-Mart nearby. Can't take the crowds during the day. My kids don't start school until the end of August, so I have all those open house dates to look forward to. (If that's the correct phrase. ;) )

On the Lean/Mean side of things, this morning I had returned to my lowest weight in the last 2-3 years, largely due to asking a dozen co-workers to be my support team in my weight loss endeavors for Disneyland. I have second-guessed that request many times (because there's the whole thing about not mixing work and personal life, and I have always had a wealth of insecurities), but our company culture is very team-oriented and I'm glad I took the risk. I did not ask everyone in the company -- only those I thought would be at all interested. And I proposed this for only 6 weeks -- not "till I get thin." It's been a surprising and rewarding experiment. I have been exercising and eating more consistently. We don't talk about it every day -- but they "ping" me about once or twice a week to ask how it's going, three of them have been helping me with weight training, one walks/runs with me occasionally, and I've been surprised at the tips the group has been able to offer -- especially as most of them are quite fit and have probably never had weight issues. As a by-product, two of the guys on my "team" asked me for info on marathons and marathon training -- an endeavor that I can be part of THEIR support team for. I passed along some books and John Bingham's running DVD. It's a healthy parnership -- much like the WISH team. Oh, and the pair of jeans I bought in the year 2000 that were so hopelessly tight that I shoved them into a bottom drawer -- I wore them to work today. I'm still fat (they are size 18s -- but "regular" 18's not "Womens"), but I can tell I'm making progress from the 26W I was wearing a couple of years ago and the 22Ws I wore earlier this year. Still a long road ahead, but at least I'm on the road today and headed in the right direction.

Sorry for the extremely long post. Also sorry for all the Lean Meaners I didn't address personally. I am hopelessly behind on this thread, but I appreciate you all. Keep at it!

All about me.......sorry I don't have the time to post individual replies today. It's Home Run Derby day for ds#2. He made the regionals, and they are in Reading. Couple hours away from here.....of course! He's really excited, and I am hoping that he does well.

I got up a little early to do my Bender ball/buns and thighs! Yeah me! I hate getting up early, but I am sort of in the routine and wake up on my own. I am not running today, so I thought I would get a little strength training in. I love my Bender ball!

I got up early yesterday too! I did 6 miles before all my normal errands of the week, and collecting one of the boys little friends to spend the day with us. They had a blast. I knew if I didn't get up to run, it wouldn't get done (again) but it took alot of conviencing!

Have a great mean day!

Beth

Good morning guys.

Wendy, we think you are a very beautiful person already. You are a poster child for being able to "Walk the walk not just talk the talk". Being an old combat vet from a time long ago that phrase is very special to me. When you are a young warrior in a actual war zone you had to earn respect. You have surely earned our respect.

Howard, the pretty princesses are good for our ego aren't they? I work for a corp owned store and they have no end of people lined up to tell us how bad we suck when sales are down. It's refreshing and a needed lift sometimes to come on here and have someone tell you that you did good.

Now on a serious subject. There was a post on the main section of the WISH about a woman who was heavy and after a tour of a gym she was thinking about joining decided she couldn't go their because she didn't see any other heavy people there.

If any of you have had those thoughts I'd like to comment on this from the perspective of a life long gym user. There are two kinds of people who come to a gym, those that come and socialize, those who come to take care of business. I'm at the gym several days a week and see the same people there, I very seldom say a word to anyone, a head nod or a smile when I make eye contact with someone but that's about it. I'm at the gym to work and I do from the time I walk in the door till I shower at the end.

There are other people there that spend the whole time wanting to chat and do very little work. Those people try to start conversations with anyone who will listen to them, I don't.

It doesn;t matter what size you are or how far along in your training you are, if you are there to take care of business, the others will respect you.

Losing weight through exercise is the oldest and most proven way to do it. As you build more muscle you burn more fat since only muscle can burn fat. So unless you have a home gym then going to a health club is a path to getting results.

I'm a walker and I think that walking/running ect... are absolutely necessary for health. But if you are needing to drop a lot of weight then working with the weights and or machines will help you tremendously.

Ok I'm getting to far up on the soap box here so I'll shut up and just say that the people I see at the club who are over weight and are there regularly get my respect.

I'm off to put fear in my own pudge cells.

Have an awesome day y'all.

Leaner Panda:hippie:

Got up and out the door early today, knocked out the 15 mile run.

Mile splits were (according to my Garmin 201 (which by the way does some funky things on laps as you might see))

Lap and Mile 1 11:40
Lap and Mile 2 10:58
Lap and Mile 3 10:37
Lap and Mile 4 10:08
Lap 5 (234 feet?) 0:27 (10:13 pace)
Lap 6 (.69 miles?) 7:07 (10:17 pace)
Lap 7 (one mile) 9:53
Lap 8 (one mile) 10:12
Lap 9 (one mile) 10:09
Lap 10 (one mile) 10:11
Lap 11 (.98 mile?) 10:25 (10:40 pace)
Lap 12 (one mile) 11:56
Lap 13 (one mile) 10:16
Lap 14 (one mile) 10:12
Lap 15 (1/2 mile?) 5:06 (10:19 pace)
Lap 16 (one mile) 9:58
Lap 17 (.79 miles) 6:28 (8:11 pace)

I noticed that a couple of times the Garmin lost the satellite signal...i wonder if it starts a new lap when it regains signal.

Anyway, I was trying to keep consistent pace, but really turn it on the last mile.

I picked up some blisters at the base of my big toe, and on the second toe (the one next to the big toe, right at the end of the toe).

I have had these shoes for a while (not new, but not ready to be replaced) and the socks are Ultimax triathlete...maybe a little thick for running in the heat. I have gotten blisters in the same place for long distances (over 12 miles seems to be the magic number for blisters).

Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks, and I'm off to take the little guys fishing, for supper club, and then a rest day tomorrow!

Mike

Mike,

Bodyglide or Vaseline your feet before putting on your socks.

Carry some moleskin or molefoam with you. It's okay to put it on before you start your long runs, preventative maintenance.

Wendy~ Congrats on the weight loss! :cool1: :thumbsup2 I'll give Cam the HB message!

Dave~ I do enjoy the lovely, talented and sweet WISH ladies. :lovestruc  It is nice to live with one too.

In the Lean, Mean and Endurance Dept... I ran this morning with clouds and threatening rain. I guess they missed me, I didn't get rained on. The sun was foll on when I finished. The temps were in the mid to high 70's and the relative humidity (according to the Philly news) was in the 88% range. Ugh. :sad2:

Miles: 6
Time: 54:41
Pace: 9:06

Splits:
9:42
9:31
9:08
8:55
9:04
8:22

I felt pretty good throughout, just a bit lethargic at the start. I think that had to do with the humidity. I had to adjust my breathing and get warmed up a bit during the first mile.

Tomorrow calls for a LR of 12 miles. :scared:

I hope you have a great weekend!

:grouphug:
