becoming a travel agent

I have had interest in becoming a travel agent, but want to focus on WDW. I have no background in travel, and am not sure how to "break into" this field. I would love to have the ability to travel to WDW more often, and work doing what I love to do--plan people's upcoming vacations and actually get a paycheck for doing it!
Any ideas where to start?

My family owns a travel agency and my mother is a travel agent. There are different tests and classes you have to take and pass to get started in Texas. I am not sure who exactly you would need to call, but try calling one of your local travel agents and asking them. They should know and should be more than willing to help you out with your questions.

You might want to contact some of the online Disney vacation travel agencies - Dreams Unlimited is one but there are others (not sure if we are allowed to post the others since they are not disboard sponsors).
