Becky Higgins' "Project Life"

I know...I really, really like the look of that one! But I still have two of her school kits (and the refills!) sitting in my closet waiting for me to work on. I did/am still doing the Project 365 for this year and I like how I have it in a binder with the photo pages with 6 slots on a page so 12 slots available for the week. I like to journal and to use extra pictures on some days. Plus, I want my years to match. :)

But I still like the look of her kit.. ;)

P.S. You may know where the POTD (picture of the day) is that I took today - on the way to the Walmart area there is a house on Grove street (left side) that has just about every holiday decoration you can think of in their side and front yards. I was only able to take a picture of the Grove street side as I could stop and do it. The other side has a lot of blow-up things and they were deflated today. If they are doing all that to be funny then it is great......but if they think it all looks good, well.....

note to self... please check out link tomorrow when I have free time.. have to be on the road in 10 for bball game!

I ordered it a few days ago. DD9 asked me to. She loves to look through it.

I almost got it, but I kept thinking will I be able to do it everyday? I talked myself out of it. Maybe next year. I thought the book design was okay, but not really my style I go for. I may change my mind.

seems like p365 just repackaged... I will be really happy when I am DONE with p365. :) I have no plans to do it again anytime soon but it has been fun to do, lots of pet pics though and flowers from the yard...

Ok, dilemma here. . .I love looking back through my P365. I didn't so much LOVE it when I got behind 10 weeks, but I've caught up, so the love is back!

I have 2 P365's--somehow there was an ordering fluke, I got one, and then another showed up. Anyway, I really like this Project Life book. Maybe I could get it, do that one next year, and then switch back to the other book for 2011? I really like the documentation of DS's life that way (and our everyday life).

Hmmm. . . .

I like the idea of doing it with one layout per month- I could use it for a few years (although I would need to make my own months after a bit. I am thinking about it.

In our area, most people turn the blowers off when the lights go off in the morning, so they're always deflated during the day. Go back after dark, and I think you'll find they look more like what you expected.

Grove Street in which town? I'll have to go check it out!

I generally take 495, since I live right off it and WM and ACM are right off it ;)

Grove Street in Bellingham - right down the road from WM and all that. That's funny since I hardly ever drive on the highway since I am just down the road from the stores. :) Going to ACM after 5 tonight for their sale? I am thinking about it....

what?? wait?? they are having a sale?? can i come too??

and i think i might get that set. i was on track for 365 but feel apart somewhere. my life took another turn and that was the last thing on my list. sad as it is.

...in the flyer there is a coupon for 50% off select scrap booking machines, dies & cartridges from Cricut, Cuttlebug & Sizzix - Wednesday only, 5 - 10 p.m. Look for the red & yellow clearance label - limited to store stock only.

I was there this morning and there is a sign up for 40% (I think) off all cricut cartridges already. So what's the big difference?? :confused3 I didn't see any that interested me so I didn't buy.

But I DID get the new DCWV Christmas stack for $11.99 (on sale) :)

...and a kit kat bar I am eating now.. ;)

...and one of the WR Memory Keepers linen 12x12 albums (Avacado) for my Project 365 for 2010 ($34.99 - $14.00 from a coupon).

...and 4 packs of really cool looking gift tags- 4 packs for $1.99. They are the style of K & Company and I probably have everything I need to make a gazillion of them, but buying was faster and I like them. :)

And now I have to get to work.. :rolleyes1

Thanks for the link! My Mom mentioned that she really liked my Project 365 book and she might be interested in doing something like it for herself... but that she was concerned about keeping up with a daily project. This might be right up her alley! I think I am going to make her a kit like this for Christmas. I'm not sure that I could do it cheaper than the $40 price tag, but I am not loving the papers and colors used in the kit and I don't think my Mom would love them either. The only thing I REALLY wish I could order from the kit would be the specially designed page protectors. They are PERFECT. But I will make do with the standard 6 pocket 4 x 6 style.

Thanks for the idea!............P

Thanks for the link! While I definitely don't think I'll do 365 again for 2010, I would like the option of doing it again in the future so I think I'll order a set and just put it on the shelf, because knowing my luck, when I want to do it again, they won't be selling those page protectors anymore.
