Becky and Jeff- 2/8/10 BW Croquet Lawn/LSS/UK Lochside- TR- Update 8/8 dessert party

It was so much fun to meet you! I hope that maybe we can hang out one day without the kids. They were asleep before we even made it to the car!

Anyway here are the few pics that we took. The last one is the pic my DS took!

oooh those piccys of you all look so good! I cant wait to meet up next year!

I hope you are doing okay. :flower3::hug:

Love the pictures of the meet-up. Its always so much fun meeting other Disney brides. Lol I know what you mean about the phone, I feel that way sometimes too. Hope that your mom is able to plan her trip soon though :goodvibes

you have just made me think about dying my crinny too now - i dont know what colour - but hey, i could go a bit crazy and die it bright pink or some clolour that matches my bouquet! its actually a really good idea!

How cool to get the Auburn garter. I wore a University of Michigan one because that's where DH and I met :goodvibes

I am ignoring Jeff's suggestion of Olive Garden :rolleyes2

Ok, I am a bit of a fan of Olive garden... I guess we won't be meeting you guys there in August huh? :rotfl2: But for a rehersal dinner maybe a restaurant would be best lol!

Love your garter btw, its funny I just got mine as a gift this weekend too! And I am really excited to see your teal or green crinnie! What if you did both and had a tie dye one! Or dye each layer a different color? Although that would probably be a huge pain in the neck to do. Good finds Becky!:goodvibes

Just got back from WDW and finally have access to the internet! Yay!! Just wanted to say it was awsome getting to meet up with you and Tanya and we will have to do it again. I am soo sorry to hear about your grandma. I thought that when you said you had gone on a trip it was a fun trip! If you need anything let me know!

Oh Becky, I'm sorry that you were upset at first. But there is always a bright side to everything! I'm glad you have a back up plan. I know everything will turn out the way it is meant to be in the end. Plus, I'd be super jealous if you get to go to Disneyland. I've wanted to go there for so long. We totally were going to honeymoon there until his parents booked us in Hawaii (not that I'm complaining, I'm super excited about Hawaii also)

Anyway, like I said, I know everything will turn out perfectly in the end. I'm a true believer in what is meant to happen will happen. I know your wedding day will be perfect no matter where it is! Keep us updated. Can't wait to see the pic of your bridesmaid in her dress!

sorry about the stress. Glad you have the backup plan but hopefully you don't have to use it!

Just read your whole journal and your plans sound great, really hope you don't have to use your back-up plans. We are getting married in September at Epcot and then doing a 7 night Western on the 19th and we can't wait (PJ link in the sig). We've unfortunately no longer got BF's sister coming as she is about to have a baby a couple of weeks before and was advised not to travel. We are really sad that she won't be there but at the end of the day all of our other family and friends will be.

Looking forward to hearing more about your cruise and wedding plans. And when we visit in Sept i''ll come and say hi!

I'm sorry you went through all that stress Becky! EEK! But I'm glad everything is going ok now re: to the backup and all. I can't remember who for the life of me, but I do remember reading about a wedding over at POR. I'll see if I can find it later.

And the attendance policy thing? It's been my experience if you tell the professors you're going to be out for a family wedding, they'll give you the work and notes that you're going to miss. I can't believe that Auburn is opposed to family weddings!! :lmao:I've let all my professors know that I'm missing class next semester for two days and as soon as I said wedding - they were all set.(I'm going to have to start marrying off random relatives to get days off! :rotfl:)

Anyodd - if you need a good vent at any point, let me know! I'm here for you!

I'd be lying to say I didn't have the exact same thoughts as you. Particularly when I found out Escape weddings could now have up to 25 people. The economy has hit both DF's and my family hard. But, no matter what everyone has said they'll do whatever it takes to be on that boat! Which sounds the same on your end. Money aside, both of our families are absolutely thrilled to go on the cruise. I think they might be a little crushed if we took that away from them at this point.

No matter what happens your wedding day will be fabulous, because in the end you are with a fantastic guy! Keep your chin up, it will really all work out in the end! :goodvibes
