I know what you mean about the whole dad/waterpark thing. I wouldn't be able to relax either if I knew dh and ds were there without me. DH does good, but it's like you said....they just don't think like we do and will turn their back or their head at the WRONG time. Makes me nervous!

Anyhoo, we have not tried Cirque yet but are planning on it for our next-next trip! Your DS's outfit is so CUTE!!!! Love it!!

AKL and DCL -- oh, I am sooooo jealous!!! Both are dreams of mine!!!

Since Pierre and the kids are ONLY doing Epcot (much to their chagrain. But who cares?) I've been trying to think of what they can do while Ecogirl and I are in Animal Kingdom which will be on Aug 20th. Waterparks are out because Cooper is too scared to do much of that PLUS I'd be a paranoid wreck the whole day. Cause you KNOW Dad's (as much as they love the kids too) do NOT do things like us moms Pierre took them to the beach one day while I was at work and he wandered off Bella totally ratted Pierre out but luckily they found him. Still scares me.....

I was thinking Downtown Disney and they could do Legoland and stuff like that. Maybe those little boats. Anyone done those before? OR DisneyQuest, is that worth it?

Anyways, if you read my report before you know Cooper has a Cirque Du Soleil obsession, he even belongs to the fan club. They send him cute letter that say "Bonjour Cooper"! Very fitting with our lat name as well as Pierre's first!

In the very first act there was a bang and Cooper's arm flipped out and hit my in the eye, poking out my contact. My vision is 20/900 (I ain't lyin' either!) so I could only see out of one eye, the 2 glasses of wine didn't help either but I *think* it was a pretty good show

She is going to be recording for the radio show this afternoon to be played on Sat morning between 9-10. I think Ecogirl and Ed are the only ones with access to this station (Q105.5) so you'll have to listen (unless she chickens out) BUT I promised her the Hannah Montana electric guitar Hopefully I'll be able to put a link on here so you all can have a listen!

After reading your report I promised myself we would go see the cirque this trip. I must have talked it up so much to my mother that she decided it would be her treat to us(yeah MOM!). My parents are joining us for our trip again but this year my Mom has to leave us early and fly home for her aunt's 90th birthday party. We originally booked our disney trip around the 90th b-day but than they went and changed their dates for the party right in the middle of our trip. But my Mom was so psyched about going to the cirque that she is flying back for our last night just to see it with us. I thought Cooper might appreciate that kind of dedication to the cirque.

Work is slowing down a bit (finally) I actually took a couple days off and flew down to Texas to visit my best friend, which was awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed the little China report ... who knows they may send me somewhere next year too .... I'll pass on the hellos ... I know that my dad has lurked through because he mentioned seeing the pic of the Nick pool when I was over there last week.

I think we have have a new career for Bella (besides working for NESN-although-she could totally do Hazel Mae's job!-, the Bruins or Red Sox. She absolutely LOVED doing the DJ stint yesterday! I haven't heard it yet and methinks she probably will come across as slightly robotic but hey they want her back in the summer to do it again! My sister, Wendy, took her since I had to work but Bella told her the whole ride home that she loved it and wanted to do it for work when she gets bigger! I called her afterwards and she was so excited to tell me about it! They were in a room with mic's and asked her questions and played songs, talked about DISNEY (our favorite subject!), and had giggle fits. I'm really proud of her for following through since I thought she would chicken out. I CANNOT wait till Sat. I'm not sure if the link will be postable but I can out the radio's site up and it will be from 9-10 (livestream) based on EST. For Jo (and my fam over on that side of the pond) will be 2 pm, all you east coasters can listen at 9 and my fellow listeners will have to go backwards from there! I'll report about it again Fri night to remind! Otherwise I'm going to see if they can get me a cd copy and I can somehow post that (although I'm pretty computer illiterate )

So you know my butt had to go to Toys R Us today and get her that darn guitar. That sucker came with no instructions AND I had to buy an amp, WTH ???!!! Still, it was better than the $300 I initially bribed her with... I need to find an instructional DVD for her because it's actually a pretty nice guitar. She practically pushed Cooper off the bus and ran 100 miles an hour into the house to see if I got it for her and she's barely put it down since.

"I might even be a rockstar!"

Cooper had his first T-ball game and hit 2 homeruns and made it to 3rd his last time hitting. Of course they can run far cause no one knows who gets or where to throw the ball ! But he still did great!

Nothing new on the trip front although I did book and deposit EVERYTHING in this last week so that's always exciting! I just need to reserve a car, I'm going for a cheapie since we are going to leave it in Port Canaveral while on our cruise and use it to drive to the Nick hotel and airport. No need to get anything fancy! Since we aren't doing the dining plan I want to know where everyone thinks they best CS places are in Epcot (or should we snack around the WS?) and AK. Pierre and Bella decided to do parasailing when we go to Castaway Cay. I'm all set with that, thanks....

I'm glad you got some time off to visit your friend! Any inkling of where they would send you? That Nick pool is something, that's for sure!
