We will be on the 3/24 and 3/27 Dream cruise and were wondering if the movie theater will be too crowded to enjoy Beauty and the Beast. Will people be reserving seats early? How early should we get to the theater...or should we just see it this weekend at home?

Our theater at home has those reclining leather seats and you can reserve your seats so you don't need to show up until the movie begins (or 20 minutes later if you want to avoid the previews). But that is money I could save by seeing it on board...just not sure the money saved would be worth it...

We were in the Wonder last week and got to the theater at movie Start time and every seat was taken and there were people standing up in the back

For Beauty and the Beast?

OMG SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! Totally magical!!! (BATB)

Thanks. I'm going on the Wonder next week, and want to see Moana. We'll get there early!

By next week, more people will be interested in seeing Beauty and the Beast, so the line to Moana will be much shorter.

They most likely will show BATB in the Walt Disney Theatre which is much larger than the Buena Vista Theatre. That said, I would still get there early.

I just got back from seeing it at our theatre and it was awesome! The sets, the costumes, the filming...just stunning. Gaston was fantastic (his singing voice was wonderful).

Agreed! It was truly enchanting.

And the most bittersweet part is they were able to use some lyrics Howard Ashman had originally written but they were cut in the animated version.

Just beautiful! This is one I'll see over and over!

They will usually offer a new movie multiple times. Don't wait until the end of your cruise to try to see it incase it is crowded

I loved the additional songs in the film!

I only wish they had included "Home" from the Broadway musical. But I did love what they put in! :)
I like that they used an instrumental of it as part of the score... bitter I didn't spring for the deluxe soundtrack now

That is what sold me on the deluxe. Well, that and the Alan Menken extras.

They will often times show movies at 8:00 am. Watch for those, as they usually aren't crowded at all. I caught a very popular film on Castaway Cay morning at 8am and I was the only person in the theater.

We are going to see it this afternoon but I am sure it will be on the Dream when we cruise again the first week of May.

Ok. Tom and I would be up for that if the do it for BATB!

On the embarkation day Navigator, don't the show all of the movie schedule?

Yes, they show all the ones being shown in the Buena Vista Theater on the embarkation day navigator. If they add on daytime ones to the Walt Disney Theater later in the week, those will show up on the daily navigator (or on the app).
