Hey all!

This is just a heads up to all you folks waiting for tomorrow to get your DVDs. I was at Eckerd's today to pick up a prescription and lo and behold, there was the DVD! So, if you've got an Eckerd's near you, it may be available today!

I've already told my family that tomorrow night is Beauty and the Beast night! I'm so excited!

I know you are excited to have the movie.... but this makes me angry.... so the stores who follow THE LAW miss out on sales because others jump the gun. I hope someone told Disney so Eckard's was fined.... (it's a pretty penny too!)

However..... I am glad you enjoyed your movie!!

I preordered the dvd while I was at WDW last summer. I wonder if it will be in the mail today. Sure hope so, Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies.

I can definitely see your point. I'd be very upset if I were a business owner and lost sales because another store jumped the gun. Never thought about it that way before. Good point!

For months I've been planning to pick up our DVD today at the Disney Store and poor dd is sick & I can't drag her out (such a perfect time to sit down and watch it too)...Boo Hoo

We got it at TDS and it is across town, so it will have to wait until the weekend.
BTW, we have boxes of Kellogg's Corn Flakes with B&B on the front--you can order a B&B spoon set with $2.99 and 3 UPCs, I think.

I've been watching it for the last 2 hours and I'm loving it! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite disney movie so I've been excited about this for awhile!

I never knew there was fines for selling early until the Harry Potter movie came out. Our store put them out to beat a competitor who advertised them for sale in the weekly flyer. Our store got caught and had really huge fines to pay. Our video manager also got fired because she did it without company approval!

If I'd read these posts yesterday, I sure would have checked the local stores here and reported them-- it is NOT fair for stores not to follow the street date set...... oh boy, I guess I better back off of this thread LOL it just burns me up!

I saw it today at Sams! I was soo excited While we were waiting in line to leave, my sister saw the tv and told me to go watch it she would just stay in line, you would have thought I was a 5 year old excited about a movie! hehe, Had there been chairs, I would have been stuck for hours! hehe
Not only has it always been a favorite, it will always hold a special place in my heart for some other reasons
