Beauty and the beast reserved section for fp+?

Our family with 2 young girls will not be doing TofT or RR. I am wondering where is the reserved section and could we walk in at 15 or 20 min before and get good seats for 6. Beauty and the beast is our favorite thing at DHS and the fp+ may be a good choice for us for the best seats. We could RD TSMM. I can't find this info anywhere else. Thanks for any info.

We just got back and were disappointed to find that almost none on the shows have separate fast pass seating areas. Even if they have a separate line section at the end it just dumps you in with the regular crowd with no separate seating. It just guaranteed to get you into the next show with no priority on location at all. The one exception I know of is Fantasmic. I don't know if Beauty and the Beast also has separate. We showed up at our fastpass time for the Indiana Jones stunt show and the stadium was already 75% full and we ended up way off to the side in pretty poor seats. We decided fastpasses for shows were mostly a waste of a pass and we were there with crowd levels of 10's. But that was just our opinion.

No there's no fast pass seating at the beauty and the beast show. I don't believe there's reserved fast pass seating for any shows. The only thing fast pass does is let you in slightly earlier than the crowd or by pass the stand by line to wait with the group for next show.

This is why I always say most show fast passes are a waste. Best one is for lights motors action.

That is strange. We went a few weeks ago and half the theater was reserved for FP+ and we were front and center.

There are some, Disney Junior comes to mind and of course Illuminations, Wishes, and MK parades (though none are technically "seating"). This is covered in the green link in my signature. I agree none of them are a good use of FP in terms of saving time.

Thanks for your reply to my question. Your experience confirms what I thought, that there is now a reserved section front and center for fp+. I am glad they did this, now there is some value in using fp+ for this show. Like I said earlier, we will rope drop toy story and will not be doing RR or TofT. I did our fp+ choices last night for our early March trip. I got fp+ for Star Tours, the Frozen sing along, and BATB. We also have the F! Dining package at the Brown Derby. We are all about the shows this trip.

Just be aware these kinds of things can and do change. The PP's experience may not match your own.

For shows you must check in with your FP before the window expires, if you show up after that you would go in with the standby line.

Yea I remember a year or so ago reading on here how the F! fp+ changed 2 or 3 times with no warning. I am hoping BATB still has a front and center section in March. BTW, Mesaboy, thank you so much for all you do here on these boards.

Howdy ya'll. We had a fantastic Disney vacation, 9 days in early March. I just wanted to follow up on our experience with B&TB FP+. We did the first show on Sunday March 8. We entered the theater in the FP+ line about 30 min before show time. At that time there wasn't a line, both FP+ and SB were just walking in. Once we got into the theater, no one in my family can recall seeing any ropes for reserved section. We did get great seats, the row just in front of the technicians pit. We love that spot because if our little ones can't see they can stand on the seat and there is nobody behind them. Anyway, if there was a reserved section for FP+ we didn't notice it. I think Mesaboy was right in saying that there is no real value in show FP+.
