I went to see BATB on Broadway last night with a friend - she'd seen it when she was eight, and I on my sixteenth birthday, so we thought it would be fun to go back. We went to TKTS and got fifth row center seats, very nice.
I thought of AngieBelle as I watched it - I'd forgotten what a fun show this was. Sarah Litzsinger was Belle, and she was really wonderful. We were still mystified by Chip - it honestly looked like somebody had cut off the kid's head!
Especially when he comes out on the table as opposed to on the cart - where on earth was his body? We looked all around, trying to see it from all different angles. I know a boy who played Chip on Broadway a few years ago, I'll have to ask him how the heck they do that, or if anyone knows, please share! Also was blown away by the Beast's transformation at the end - we both made an effort to watch really closely but still had no idea how they did that, incredible. We also loved Be Our Guest and caught a bunch of the streamers that flew at us
We really had a wonderful time, I'm so glad I went back.
