Saw this at the Disney Store web site...

In this classic scene from ''Beauty and the Beast,'' Belle holds Chip in one hand and the magic mirror in the other as Mrs. Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth look on. Cast in resin and hand painted, this beautiful figurine hides a secret compartment. Open it to reveal a collectible resin pin of Beast. 7'' H. Sculpted resin. Imported. Certificate of Authenticity.

My Mantra....

I am only collecting pins....I am only collecting pins..I am only collecting pins....

OK, maybe one or two snowglobes, a plush Beast, a mug, Lenox Beauty and the Beast figurines, Mrs. Potts teapot, a couple of watches, cels, framed pinsets, bean bag plushes and a t shirt that says "I'm with the Beast"...

Otherwise, I am only collecting pins!!

:D:D

OK, I need this. :)
I also NEEDED the Lumiere that lights up & talks that I bought yesterday at the DS. (and now I need the Mrs. Potts & Cogsworth to keep him company)

A Lumiere that lights up and talks!!! How did I miss that?

The Lumiere is adorable.. :) I just wish he sang Be Our Guest, I'm not sure what the others say.

They were shoved in with all of the other plush.

Now to make everyone really cringe. They had this piece in the Disney Stores that carried "collectibles." It was one of the things that was part of that huge sale where everything went 35%, 50% and then 75% off.

There are lots of new BatB toys at the Disney Store these days. Personally, I like the new set of stamps. It even has a Phillippe! But there are 4 new talking plushes: Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts w/Chip. They're $22.50 I think.

What does everyone think of the new $98 Hourglass Snowglobe? When one of the leads called my Mom the conversations went, "Hope's birthday present came into the store today."

Hope,

Yes, we bought one for about $28, I think. We also bought a Tinkerbell one for the same price. Both were the last in the store, and both do come with a pin, but the pin is probably not something you would trade (it seems to be made of ceramic...but I haven't really taken them out and examined them).

The next time I was at the DS, they told me that about twenty minutes after we left, Harvey Fierstein came in looking for a Tinkerbell sculpture, and they had to tell him that they had sold the last one to someone just a few minutes before!!
