For the middle of the day (hottest time) what are the rides that have long wait times that are in the air conditioning? My thought was to stand outside in lines when it is cool (example Kilimanjaro Safaris) and then jump to something that has most of the line inside later in the day. Not just AK but the other parks also. Thoughts?

MK Carousel of Progress is #1 for cooling down. There is also Hall of Presidents when it reopens. (Hottest: Tom Sawyer Island :joker:) Lots of rides and shops here so there is always a place to duck into.

Epcot: The Land pavilion is nice because everything is inside. Soarin', Living with the Land ride, food court, bathrooms. Spaceship Earth because a lot of the line is under cover and the ride is long and dark.

I am always hot as heck at AK.

With all due respect to Eastern, all but the last half minute or so of the Spaceship Earth line is outside, and although half is in the shade, it's still pretty hot. Long inside lines at Epcot include Finding Nemo and Frozen, although Frozen's outside portion can get long. At MK your best bets are Peter Pan, Small World, Pirates, and Little Mermaid. Also consider the other shows: American Adventure (Epcot), Philharmagic and Tiki Room. At Studios, Toy Story Midway Mania, or hang out in Launch Bay or Walt Disney: One Man's Dream. We were at AK one day when it was 96 degrees and we were miserable; we avoid it entirely June-September. Also, remember that anything without a roof will shut down if there's lightning in the area, so ride coasters, Dumbo, etc. in the morning before the afternoon monsoon hits.
