has anyone used beat the brochure to book a holiday. i have found a really good deal with virgin flights, villa for under £4,000 in August. Not sure if it is a good deal or not. Help would be appreciated:yay: :yay:

How many of you are going and what does it include? If it is for a large family and tickets, car etc is included then it sounds like a good deal. The best thing to do is browse loads of sites till you find the best deal, TCD, Virgin, Expedia, Thompson are all good ones to try. I generally find that TCD are cheaper by about £200 for us but we choose Virgin as the extras are better (bigger luggage allowance, seatback tvs etc).

Good luck with your search. :goodvibes

Like Jen said,depends how many are going.There are 3 of us going and we have paid £3750 for 2 weeks staying at POR with the dining plan and tickets-this was booking through VA seperate and booking accom dining and tickets through virgin with Frequent flyer discount of 10%-going 26/07/07.I always think it is better to book seperate as you do save this way.sometimes it is just easier to book through a tour operater.Try looking at funway and jetsave as well and also this site if you are booking your flights seperate.

Hi there
I can only ever tell you what it costs us. We have booked 3 weeks going on July 11th 2007 at POR 2 adults and 3 kids, 10, 8 and 3. with Virgin from Manchester (booooooo!)

Anyway, it has cost us 4096.00 we have to add tickets on I know. I originally got a price off TCD and they told me to call them back if i got any other prices and they would (their words) definately beat it. They got to 5050.00 and I was told there was no way they could get any closer.

Hope this helps, I have found that Virgin are the best prices for us lot on the occasions we have been. However I do know rhat some people find them expensive and TCD the best?

I think TCD couldnt match your Virgin price as it was for three weeks, TCD seem to work on a two week return basis and thats where the cheaper holiday is to be got. We have had prices for three weeks from TCD before and they have always been daft expensive, I think they send you home with another airline.

I've never used these (actually i've never even heard of them)

We've just booked for two weeks for two adults with TCD;

Flying from Manchester to Sanford 25th Sept '08
Economy car
5 Park Flex-Tickets
7 Day MYW Tickets
Free time check-in
Royal Palm Lounge

£1606

Then our share of the privately booked villa is £500
