Beast Castle?

Any idea when the Beast's Castle will open? Anything I have read says that it will be in time for the holidays. We want to go to WDW at the end of Oct.

I would not count on getting a specific date until much later in the year and I would not count on it being open at the end of Oct.

Just be aware that Beast's Castle is not like Cinderella Castle. It is a forced-perspective likeness on top of a mountain you cannot reach. Underneath it will be the Be Our Guest restaurant.

The PP is correct, Disney is being intentionally vague with the opening date by saying the "holidays". Fairly safe bet in my opinion that does not include October, but you may get lucky.

Yes.

Very BatB themed. Highly detailed.
Even includes impressive "views" outside the large arched windows.

I don't think so. You can see the castle now, I think. There is a castle that you can see, so I assume that is it.

The BatB thing may be themed inside, but I don't *think* it is an actual castle outside.

The Restauarant is Gaston's Tavern, which is in the town where the people whipped themselves up into a frenzy. The castle was off in the distance.

The castle that is now visible appears like it is off in the distance. It looks great, but it is small and up on top.

I am purposely trying to avoid info about all this, other than when it will open. It isn't often we get new stuff and I want it all to be as new as possible. So, my info isn't researched...but I know what I see.

But to answer the question, I'm not really sure what Gaston's tavern is going to have in it. Concept art shows an Antler wall complete with kid hanging from some, turkey legs, and another kid drinking what looks like beer

No doubt Disney's answer to the super-popular Butterbeer at Harry Potter's. My guess is it will be some form of a butterscotch beer too.

I also genuinely hope there are no spittoons unless they have plants in them to make them look pretty.
