Bear In The Big Blue House

My 2 year old daughter, Allison, is a huge fan of Bear In The Big Blue House. I know that they do the Playhouse Disney show in MGM but I was wondering... do Bear and friends ever come out for meet and greets?

I would give anything for Allison to get to "meet" Ojo... or Bear... or Tutter!

Has anyone had any luck asking CM's for a special meeting?

No meet and greet for the Bear friends, but they are in the parade. I have heard that the Jojocircus friends are out for meet and greet.

We saw Bear out in the courtyard in front of the show are once, but not the other characters from there. JoJo and Goliath have a trailer, and in June there was a Lilo and Stitch area back by the entrance to the Animation attraction. DH and DD ran into Mike and Sulley during Extra Magic Hour one morning too.

I remember once the show was down for technical difficulties for 3 days and you could go and meet the characters inside but that was 3 years ago. i have not seen this since. Jo Jo and Goliath are waiting for us in January though.

We just returned from our latest Disney vacation. Bear & friends don't do meet and greets, but we had virtually no waits for meeting JoJo & Goliath and the other characters mentioned in this thread.

Ok... so I am desperate.

Has anyone ever had any luck asking (begging) for a specific charachter (Bear!) to come out for a quick picture??

My daughter would be soooo thrilled!

I have had my picture with Bear before. It was at MGM but I don't remeber where it was. It was at least a couple of years ago. I haven't seen him out and about lately though.

Good luck! Ask a cast member is there is anyway to meet him. You never know, you just might get to.

We were at Animal Kingdom last week and while waiting in line for Triceratop Spin, my daughter started screaming. She said "Look Mommy, its Bear....the REAL Bear...not a costume...its really BEAR!!!" I looked up to see Bear being escorted by several men in suits. He walked right by...my daughter was thrilled to see him...even just for that little bit of time. Then while getting on the ride, some man had a video camera and did some taping. Come to find out they were taping a Bear in the Big Blue house episode that day! How Cool! I can't wait to see it!!!

Thats so cool! My daughter has met Bear, but only because we got blessed by someone who wrote the Bear people about my daughters disability and we met him backstage (his show was on the road) for our own personal meet and greet for about 10 mins. Yep, I cried!!

Occasionally there are Bear meet and greets at Once Upon a Toy in the Marketplace in DTD. I have never been able to make them but i have seen them advertised in signs around the Marketplace where the special events are posted. I know for a fact thay had one while we were there this summer and again when we where there over Halloween weekend. We were actually in the Marketplace then but the kids were too interestied in trick or treating at the time then trying to meet Bear.

Oh man. We must have just missed bear. We were there for Halloween weekend, but didn't see anything advertised about him being there. Oh well, maybe next time.
