Bean Counters and shortsightedness

I would also wait 30 minutes for that ride but I would suspect most people would not.

I agree with you that there needs to be a better balance of top tier rides and bottom tier rides when thinking about additions. The Mary Poppins ride would have been a nice addition even if it would have been as simple as what leaked out with it being tea cups. It is an attraction that would help eat some crowds.

Shows would also help especially in the summer with A/C.
This is where once it opens Journey of Water will sort of help. It’s not an E-Ticket thing, but it’s a place where people can walk through and interact with water and find some shade.

I know I’m going to have to pack extra outfits for my youngest who will find every possible way to get soaked going through it.

No doubt, but was responding to one poster wondering why don't they add more attractions to help consume the overcrowding.

Not sure why the dramatic price drop at AK and Epcot if those are packed.

I think adding the 2 lands Zootopia and Moana, at AK would help-especially when ILL would pay for the attractions.
Yes, adding full fledged lands rather than attractions makes much more sense.

Not saying it needs to be exactly these rides but IMO the parks need long, high capacity people eater rides like Ellen's Energy Adventure and Great Movie Ride. Rides like Smuggler's Run and Rise don't really help with crowds because their capacity is so low.
I don't think Ellen's really helped with crowds. 😄 Who even rode that? The seats were too uncomfortable to even get a good nap in.

But Toy Story Land also consumed TSMM, which is a mid-tier ride and exactly the kind of thing that I am talking about. The lands all need at least three rides - I still can't believe SWGE only has two.
Could a Star Wars show of some kind work? Maybe something the history and the technical making of the movies? Seems like a big draw to a Star Wars nerd like me.

Didn't they cut a lot from SWGE? Another ride, a full restaurant? They should've built the whole thing.

Same with Navi being like half as long as originally planned.

It certianly didn't suck in the people for the last decade of it's operation or so. I do remember going to it in the 80's and it was packed - as was everything really!

This is where they need to build some good, old-fashioned dark rides. Everyone wants the coasters - so many people are very ride-centric. The throngs will always flock to those. But think about AK - it could really use some kind of straight-up dark ride - something with an omnimover or something.

Was originally going to be Original Trilogy themed, and then changed to be Disney Sequel themed after the success of The Force Awakens. Or that what was reported on the internet, and you know all of that is 100% truth!

Do they try and do something with Bluey at some point? I mean it is the most watched content on Disney+, by a pretty large margin I understand.

i feel the same way about this as i do the shows, most people skip shows to get a better pay off on rides. The exceptions being Festival of the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Indiana Jones

they have the Navi river ride, which i tell everyone with ears to pass on

if a ride draws more people to the park then it can turn in a day that would not be helpful, and i think that is what Disney has run into especially with the lands they've added. there is no way that SWL helped with wait times across the park
That's where park reservations should come in but with all the data they have, I don't think they use it properly.
