Almost every night in my driveway you hear "thump" "thump" "thump"....... I don't know what is so addicting about this game, but my DH, me and the neighbors play this game almost nightly...lol
Is that the game where you throw
the bean bags into holes in a slanted board?
If not, tell us what it is?
I'm looking for new games for DH, myself & DS (2).
The bean bag game is very popular around here. Especially among college students. Last month we bought our first. I was a little disappointed that it was 90.00 seeing as how it's just a few bags with beans and some plywood. There are some people who tell me that I could have built it myself but I know that routine...it never happens. So, I bought the game. We have a good time with it.
I haven't seen one in years but the kids a few blocks over are out in front of their house playing it all the time. I thought they were maybe just a little odd, but I guess its time to realize I no longer have my finger on the pulse of pop culture.
We take ours to every party we go to in the summer. In our neck of the woods it's called The Potty Game! My DFIL makes them for us and we've even given them away as gifts.
they call it corn hole around here. Its not really popular where we live, but when we go to family reunions my cousin always brings her game. She said its really popular where they live.
Its a fun game to play...
My friends family had the game and we have been playing it since the late 80's..I had a board made for my dad for fathers day a couple years ago & I got one too...Very popular around here...
OK--PLEASE--For the love of all that is HOLY---PLEASE someone post a picture or at least a description. I'm ashamed to be so out of the loop. What on earth IS this game.
Wendy, I'm with you. The only time I've ever seen anything remotely like this was at the elementary school family fun night, and my youngest is now a senior in high school.

It's mostly adults in our neighborhood, but a couple of the teens play too. And we set up the boards a little closer and let the younger kids play too.
Trust me, the description of the game makes you go "why is this game fun?", but then once you play, you're hooked.
