My DH is the plant electrical engineer where he works. He manages the maintenance department and does lots of projects and design. He has to wear a smock that is OSHA required and kinda like a lab coat. Well, he is very tall and thin and has typically big feet. One of the mechanics started calling him Beaker and now they all do. I think he likes it as he has mentioned it a few times.

I was on the Mouseshop site and they had a play set of Beaker and the lab. I bought it for him and he was delighted. He took Beaker to work to wear in his chest pocket so the guys will see him. To meet him he is so serious and quiet but I guess underneath he is just a kid like the rest of us.

Oh yeah, I also bought myself a few antennae balls and a Mr. Potato Head Disney key chain. Good site and great service. :yo-yo:

:D :D :D :D :D Thank was so sweet of you to get him Beaker!

Hubby and I were at Disney Quest one night in January, and we were playing those games where you win tickets? Well - we've mastered some of those games, and my goal was to get a stuffed Beaker (700 tickets I think?)

Well - we had enough to get a Beaker AND his buddy Bunson Honeydew. (along with enough laffy taffy to last hubby the rest of the trip!) hehehe...Beaker and Bunson are still sitting in a bag up in a closet - but I know once I have kids they'll come in handy! :)

I would really LOVE for the Muppets to make a "full blown comeback"

I want the show to come back and do well (I was so excited the last time they tried that, but a few weeks later it was gone)

The Muppet Show was my absolute favorite as a kid. I even love the newer characters--especially PePe the Prawn.

I'm hoping now that Disney has the rights, that they will become the sensation they once were.

I think it is so great that your husband wears Beaker in his pocket. That would crack me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool! Chris is also a Beaker fan. He has a few of them at his work cubicle. One of them is riding a stuffed llama.

Was the Llama a Kuzco?

I should bring my Kuzco into work. No touchy!
