Beak and Barrel Review

We were lucky enough to snag two reservations for Beak and Barrel through the DreamTable app. It alerted us very quickly and gave us the perfect reservations. Our first visit was AMAZING. We got seated by the fireplace for just the two of us. our second visit, they seated us at a table with a bunch of strangers. It was okay, but was not what we expected. Has anyone else had this happen before? what has been your experience?

Our experience was terrible. We were put in a back room at the map table and had to stand the whole time. We asked for seats so they sent us back outside to wait, and then when brought back in, we were seated at the most uncomfortable stools we've ever sat on. Better than standing I guess?

Not sure why Disney thinks people who have been walking around on sore feet all day want to remain standing for their lounge/bar visit.

I imagine that is standard. You can get seated with strangers at Oga's Cantina and even at Trader Sam's if at the surfboard table. It is something I am prepared for knowing it is not unusual at these type of places.

The standing sucks and the map room is the worst. I get they increase capacity without the stools but I’d rather lose a little capacity and get off my feet. And idk what to do to fix the map room. Reserve for big groups maybe?

You went from like the best seats to ok seats. Real complaints are reserved for the losers who have to stand in the map room.

Well now that I have been ... yes we were seated with lots of strangers at the big long table where you come in. First was a couple w/baby, then us, then a large group. We had a great time, didn't mind at all. While we really didn't interact there were a few moments with our awesome server that it was a connected moment. We enjoyed enough that this will be something we want to do every trip.
