Beachnes n' Cream FYI

For those of you who are headed to BCV 12/6-13 Beaches n' Cream will be closed for renovations. This is all according to our waitress that we had just about 1 hour ago at BnC. I didn't ask if they would be serving the same fare at one of the other restaraunt locations.

Just wanted to give the heads up for those of you coming to the BCV next week.

Yes, I'm very disappointed. We're headed down tomorrow and we were counting on catching lunch there some time in our 10-day trip, but it's not going to happen. We'll have to wait until June 2007.

It is so crowded there and you only always have to wait. I vote for bigger..

Thanks for the info. Beaches and Cream is a family tradition for us. We take a photo of our youngest with a No Way Jose on every trip. It's been fun to watch him grow next to it. LOL From 25 months where it looks like it is bigger than him to now where he looks like he could take it. We arrive on 12/3 so we may have to shuffle a lunch or two to make sure we make it there.

I asked our waitress about expanding into the arcade and she said that they would never do that because it was a gold mine. She said that she would like to see them expand into Ariel's because they only use that for special occasions.

According to the CM at the WDW-DINE number, there is no news about B& C renovations. I am surprised that they did not know...

OH, I was planning on going this next weekend. Coming all the way from California just to eat there. Well, not really, but that was one of our stops. I just discovered this board. I frequent the cruise board, but never the food , boy have I been missing out. If anyone hears anything else please post it, I will be there, on those very days.,

Great, and when will we be there...12/7-12/12. Say it isn't so that is the one place we all wanted to go!! I have been dreaming about the kitchen sink sundae.

We were on Nov. 16; it's always our first and last meal! Anyway, our Cast Member said their was a problem with the back wall behind the Sundae stations that was a health issue. This is the only reason it will be closed. Yeah - I wish they'd demolish that stupid arcade too!

Ok...a little update. I spoke with the manager on Sunday while she was taking my order at the To Go window and she indeed confirmed that they were closing for some updates. She said that they will be splitting the menu and serving ice cream and such over at the Yacht Club Galley and that Hurricane Hannah's will be serving the burgers. She didn't go into any other details, but at least I got a solid confirmation.

I can confirm that B&C IS closed through 12/13. They are, however, serving a good deal of the menu items, including No Way Jose, Kitchen Sinks, burgers, etc..., in the Yacht Club Galley.

My wife and I had our yearly 'fix' of No Way Jose at the Yacht Club Galley today. It was fine!!

No, you have to go over to the Yacht Club which is right next door to the Beach Club. 5 minute walk tops.
