DH and I are going on our adult only trip next weekend. We're staying at Boardwalk Villas and I thought we might go over to the Beach Club resort and have lunch at Beaches & Cream since we've never been there. What are the odds we can get in as a walk-up? Do you think we would need reservations?? Thanks!

Beaches & Cream doesn't take reservations - the only way to get in is as a walk-up.

It's also very small, so it gets crowded at peak mealtimes and right after Illuminations. If you go right when they open or choose a non-peak time you will likely have less of a wait. If you are willing to sit at the counter instead of a table or booth you might have less time to wait if nothing else is available.

I did a walk-up last year, I think we had a 30 to 45 min wait in the evening. Practically everyone there was ordering The Kitchen Sink (they do an announcement).

We always go at off peak times (we're off peak eaters, lucky that way) and never had a long wait. We had the kitchen sink first time we went as they allowed you to use it as two dessert credits on the DP but haven't had a since. This time we are planning a visit just to do the kitchen sink - it's great fun!
