We are considering doing a Beaches Turks and Caicos vacation next summer. I would love to hear if any of you have any experience with Beaches..

We've been 5 times and have our 6th trip booked for next April. We LOVE it there. I'll PM you a link to some pics.

The water there is CRAZY crystal clear, turquoise and very calm. It's amazing!!

Shelby,

Which resorts have you been to? Any favorites? Least favorite?

We've been to Beaches Turks & Caicos. It was great! The AI was just what we needed at the time. We were there in November 2006. Would definitely go back there or another Beaches resort again

Well, as I mentioned above we've been to Beaches Turks and Caicos 5 times and we've visited Beaches Negril as well.

Beaches Turks is our favorite resort by far and we've been on 10 trips total to the Beaches/Sandals resort chain. We've been to Sandals Royal Bahamian, Sandals Whitehouse (twice), Sandals Grande St Lucian, Sandals Regency St Lucia and Sandals Royal Caribbean.

As I said, Turks is our favorite family resort but our favorite Sandals is probably the Regency or Royal Bahamian.

Our least favorite is Sandals Whitehouse, it's huge and to us anyway, very impersonal.

We went to Beaches Negril and LOVED IT!! We want to go to the Beaches Turks and Caicos SOOO BAD.

Thank you so much for the PM! I hope you don't mind me asking questions. We are pricing out different level rooms. How important is it to have concierge? I know we can't afford the butler class but I don't understand what concierge gets you? The price looks to be about 2K difference. Would this be a good resort for 9 and 6 year old boys?

Oh another question.. Which section is the best? I know the Italian is the newest but I don't understand which location is the best.

Oh it would be perfect for your boys!!! Honestly though they have something for every age!!! The beach is fantastic, they've recently added the new water park...I think they'd love it.

If you book concierge you will have what they call VIP check in. There's a separate lounge for VIP where they have drinks and cookies available to you. I believe they will also handle any tours you would like and your dining reservations. We've had concierge a couple of times and regular rooms a couple of times and we were fine either way.

As for the best location, it all depends on what you like! We haven't been since the new section opened this year, we missed it by a few weeks. It looked BEAUTIFUL!

Before they added the Italian Village and we were choosing between the French Village and the Windsor Building/main section closest to the beach...we always chose the older section that was closer to the beach. But that's because we LOVE the beach there so much, the water almost glows it's AMAZING!

But lots of people like the French Village because they love being tucked away back there, with that gigantic pool. It all depends on what YOU like!!!

We've also been to Beaches Turks and Caicos twice and the kids loved it. I wanted to go back there this year but the kids and DH voted me down and we're doing WDW instead.

But I'm looking into it for next year. As N&B's mom stated, the place is amazing. Your kids will love it.

I was there last month. Of all the all inclusives I've done this one by far is ALL about customer service. We stayed in Carribean Village but toured the other two villages. I thought for sure I would want to stay in the Italian Village but nope! The French Village is by far my favorite.

The Italian Village pool was way to busy and crowded (loud) for me. The food was excellent everywhere we ate.
The beach is just perfection.

We stayed at a Dreams resort in May in the Dominican Republic. As much as Dreams was wonderful Beaches, when comparing apples to apples wins hands down.

This resort is a haven for kids, it really is all about them.

Beaches was top notch in family resorts. :thumbsup2
