beaches in walking distance from nassua

hi I didn't book an beah day.. is there a way to get to a beach form the ship??

I think there is a beach not too far from the ship but you're better off taking a cab. Try Cable Beach. It's my favorite because it's big and beautiful and FREE. Ask the cab driver to take you to Cable Beach and you'll end up at the Wyndham Crystal Palace, which is open to cruise guests, free. There is a nice pool with a waterslide, swim up bar, motorized water sports on the beach, casino inside and many overpriced restaurants. Have fun. Sure beats paying for Atlantis.

This sounds nice. How much would a cab ride be for a family of five? Do you pack a lunch from the ship to take with you?
