Beaches & Cream is at the top of my list for this trip, but I'm not sure if we should go there on our DHS or Epcot day. It's closer to Epcot, right? Do you think it's better for lunch or dinner?

Thanks!

I would go there on the day you are going to visit Epcot because when you leave at the International Gateway you can walk directly to the Beach Club.

As for lunch or dinner I don't think it makes a difference because they have the same menu from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, plus since you can't make any ADR's you have no idea how busy they will be and if there will be a wait for a table.

Thanks! I guess it makes more sense to walk from Epcot than the Studios - there are a lot of yummy options right in Epcot, though, so that's why I was thinking it would be better to walk from DHS. But I think you're right - leave Epcot for a late lunch, then return for World Showcase and dinner at Tangerine Cafe.

As you mentioned, Epcot has a lot of good food options. My family tends to have a harder time finding somewhere to eat at DHS, so I would opt to go to Beaches & Cream on the DHS day. It will take a bit more time (20 minutes would be my guess), but you can take the boat from DHS to YC/BC and back.

Definetely go from EPCOT, if you leave from the International Gateways exit, you'll be there in less then 10 minutes.

As for lunch or dinner, do neither! Go for dessert! The food there is very plain and average and nothing great, but the dessert there is spectacular!

I agree. To me, the burgers/o-rings/fries are much better at Sci-Fi in DHS, if that's what you're interested in. I wouldn't leave either of those parks to dine at B&C. Leaving for dessert is a great idea though. If you just really want to eat there above anywhere else, I'd go from Epcot for convenience. Epcot also has better CS for your other meal.

Personally, Id get fish n'chips for dinner then walk over to B&C for ice cream:thumbsup2 But yes, any of the places in WS would provide better options for a meal!

I would leave DHS to go to B&C. Just because at Epcot there's a lot of good places to eat. Not so much at DHS.

Good points about just going for ice cream. The ice cream is definitely what we want; with the kidlets I think it might be easier for us to just eat a meal there too (honestly, I could make the ice cream my meal!).

It's easy to walk there from Epcot but it's no big deal to take the boat from DHS, or even walk. I would go on whichever day you can get there around opening at 11am, so you have little to no wait. Whenever I have tried to go there in the afternoon, the wait is always 45 minutes or longer.

We split a kitchen sink (our family of 5) there in July for our lunch :goodvibes it was GREAT!! I would recommend getting there early too -- we usually get there at 11 and it is full by 11:30-45 or so! There are about 4 booths, smaller tables for parties of 3-4 and the bar. It fills up quickly but it is SOOOO good! :lovestruc
